Like it just fine but the timer bell does not ring loud enough.

This timer has the slighest sound to it and I could not hear it when it went off. I would not buy again.

I bought this timer as a Xmas gift for two hard to buy for people. One man and one woman, (my mother). The man, who does most of the cooking in his house, immediately wanted to see how loud the timer was, and wasn't particularly impressed. My mother, gracious as ever, said how good my timing was in that the timer on her stove had just stopped working. Then, as the gift opening continued, I discovered that my mother had bought timers for two of our guests, one being the same man I gave a timer. Well, these were digital timers with many functions and both men immediately took to playing with their timers and setting them off to much louder alarms. So, the ratings I gave above are based on these reactions.

I bought this casue I needed a timer that would last, that was durable.I got tired of cheap dollar store timers that broke the first time i used them.! This is just what I was looking for, durable, easy to clean on top of that! The sound is not really loud, but then I am normally close by and can hear it fine, Then it is also possible to take this into another room, to remind me to go back and check the kitchen. You can not go wrong with thise, it is worth every penny.
