A nice looking sturdy piece. I like it. But if room is a consideration be aware that it is described as 24" H but only 20" H, as 18" W but it's 24.5 "W and 20" D but only 17" D. The assembly directions are not good because one must have some experiance and/or immagination to correctly install the draw rails. Also, there are no pre-drilled screw holes for the draw rails which make it even more of an adventure. Also part "G", which I beleive is not necessary, is listed but not included in the directions. I only write these things because they've saved me a lot of money over the last 4 years.

I am very pleased with this Nightstand, we have it in our bedroom and it looks so nice. It is a VERY good value for the money. You have to know that the directions provided in the box are TERRIBLE! Very vague-you are pretty much on your own to figure it all out. That is the only negative thing about this item and it is worth it in the long run.

I love this nightstand. We bought it with the headboard that matches and they work great together. We did purchase a piece of glass to go on the top for extra protecton, but that may not be neccessary.

I was so impressed with the sturdiness of the nightstand, the great look of it, the speed of delivery. It was just what I needed. Very impressed with the rubberwood & would consider using it again.

I love a challenge and the instructions provided me with one, but after working on it for almost three hours, I got the first nightstand completed. Having all the parts labeled is a big help. You do need to flip forward several times to see where something is really supposed to be. The instruction illustrator needs a little more training in the art of dimensional representation. The second nightstand I purchased should assemble much faster. The piece is very sturdy and has a heavy look and weight. I had a little problem on one of the drawers with the wood splitting, but a little glue took care of it and it is out of sight.

I purchased two nightstands. They arrived on time with the boxes in good condition. They are quite heavy -- as in too much for a 40-something female to carry up stairs by herself. There were plenty of parts. Both contained extra screws, dowels, etc. As so many have written, the instructions are very poor in places (be sure to notice there are two different lengths of dowels because the font is very small). In some places, you really cannot tell from the drawing which direction a piece goes. So you end up having to turn pages, looking ahead to other steps to figure out which direction something should go. That said, holes were drilled correctly. I had a battery-operated screwdriver, and working alone, it took me 6 hours nonstop to put two of these together. Finally, it loses one star for a few reasons. The directions, as mentioned, are very poor. The wood on the edge of one of the nightstands was banged up in a few places. I'll need to take a marker to it to try to hide the spots. But the biggest issue is the wood splits. At first I was concerned that I had caused it by overtightening a screw, but then, paying careful attention on the next set of holes, I found the wood split before the screw was even halfway in. This happened on numerous holes. There were also some cracks/splits in pieces before I even assembled them. Those were not through-and-through cracks/splits or I would have returned the nightstand, but still -- not something you want to see in a brand new item. I'm satisfied, but I would not have paid more than I did (109) for each. The "wood" is slightly thicker than typical assemble-yourself furniture, but it's still pretty poor quality.

Nightstand looks nice. It should be 2" taller to match standard nightstand height. Putting it together was interesting. Every piece was labeled with a letter but the instructions did not have the labeled pieces pictured! Such a simple step that was left out. Took about 3 hours to put together. Other then that, it looks nice.

It is always a pleasure to find that some things work out well. We got 2 of these and assembled them over a couple of evenings. The reviews here were right on the money for these nightstands. We bought 2 and are really happy with them. The directions were much better than some but could be excellent with more clarity to the drawings. The finished product is exactly what we have been looking for. The quality of the wood is very good and the price was great too. The packing was excellent. Would definitely recommend for those willing to assemble.

We bought both the Garret platform bed and this end table that matches the bed. They both took time to assemble but well worth it in the long run.The rubber wood is HEAVY and seems to be very durable! Love this bed and end table too---I wish the Garret rubberwood dresser was still available so that we could buy it and then have a matched set in our guest bedroom. Unfortunately, our old dresser will have to do because there is no Garret dresser available to purchase from Overstock. In any event, when the Garret bed is back in stock you should buy the platform bed and Garret end tables too--just plan to take your time assembling the furniture but you will be glad that you bought the bed and end tables as it is real wood and looks great too!

This nightstand is well worth the price. Solid construction, solid wood. Much nicer than the cheap MDF assemble-yourself furniture I've purchased elsewhere. Yes, it does take awhile to assemble, but its not overly difficult. Just allocate enough time and don't rush. Be aware, the nightstand is low, as its meant to accompany a platform bed. I wish the matching dresser was still available.

We bought two of these nightstands to go with the Armada dresser and chest and they look great in our room. They look expensive and actually provide quite a bit of storage since the drawers are so deep, which is exactly what we needed. They are larger than they appear in the picture, so just make sure you measure your room, but we are very happy with them. I believe they came preassembled, so no worries there!

I purchased two of these and I have only completed putting together one of them so far. I have the headboard that part of the set and the night stand compliments it nicely. However, I think I am going to get new handles because the black handles do not go with the colors in my room. All and all I am quite satisfied with my purchase and will attempt to put together the second nightstand soon.

I absolutely LOVE these nightstands!! The quality is outstanding!! YES they DO take some time to assemble, but it's well worth it!! I also have the bed, and the set is perfect!!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. It's sturdy, asthetically pleasing, and the color is exactly as described.

I was looking for a nice nightstand and what I found in stores was twice the price of this one. However, when I received it, it came in a flat box with a million pieces. (I guess I didn't read that part on the product description). You really need patience to put it together .... it's kinda like a puzzle. Once assembled, it's a beautiful piece, worth the price. Just be prepared to sit there with the diagram, all the pieces and make sure you have plenty of time! I want to buy another one but if I can find something that's already put together, I might opt for that if it looks as good. Or I might just bite the bullet and do it again!

This is a very sturdy night stand with deep drawers! Great in my son's room with the matching platform bed. We are very happy with the purchase.

We ordered 2 nightstands and received them within a week. The packaging was good - both nightstands arrived with no scratches and chips, and it is easy to assemble. The product looks exactly like the pic shown on the website. We are very happy with our purchase.

Easy to assemble but I would recommend that you use a cordless drill with screwdriver bit or a power screwdriver rather than a regular screwdriver as suggested.

This nightstand is a great price and is very attractive. But, it took a really long time to assemble and it took several tries to get the drawers to work correctly. The directions weren't as clear as I would have liked. I love how it looks now that it's done though! My suggestion is to order only if you have a lot of time to put it together.
