The flatware arrived promptly and looks great. I do a lot of casual entertaining and these are a fantastic alternative to plastic flatware! They are, however, lightweight and will not do well for ongoing, everyday use or if you have kids who may grab one of the spoons to dish out ice cream, for example. I would definitely recommend these to a friend, as long as they weren't intending to replace their regular flatware with these.

Cheap and sturdy flatware that comes with storage. I've been living out of a suitcase for the past year. When I got home, I needed to restock my house with the essentials. I've been using these while I figure out what flatware I really want. These really aren't that bad. They look cheap but they're sturdy. You get a lot more spoons than knives or forks, which is annoying. People who buy this sort of flatware don't need 2 different sizes of spoons. They should have 8 spoons, 8 knives, and 8 forks. I will definitely save these utensils for picnics and camping trips. They'd be good for that, and also good for a kid's first apartment.

This set of flatwear looks very cute enough for a buffet style picnic. However, after the second wash, the knives started showing signs of rust! We washed and dryed them right away, but that did not seem to help any. I had to throw them away and, of course, purchase a new set. Money down the drain. Spend the extra money as it will be money well spent. I couldn't bear the thought that my kids would be putting those utensils in their mouths!

I love them. Easy to transport and handy to use! Go from dining room table to patio. Dishwasher safe. Great price!

I bought them for my son when he moved to an apartment on his own. They are sturdy and appropriate for a first set or as a picnic set. I was satisfied with the price and product.

Bought these for a friend that was moving into a small home with a very small kitchen.She says it's great having them right on the counter top and not taking up her drawer space.

I ordered these for one of my rental properties because i was trying to save money but i was surprised that they were pretty nice and i have received compliments on them. Way to go overstock.

This was purchased for a boys college apartment. It's the right size and nice that it has servings for 6. The price was right and it feels substantial. Time will tell how they stand up to the boys.

This set fits my kitchen style so well. They are very handy and keep my 3 year old from dragging silverware throught he house (thus losing it) b/c he can't reach where I keep them. I'm not totally sure how long they will last, as they don't seem to b extraordinary quality but for the price, I think it was a great buy.

I've used this set for about 3-4 years everyday. Found them in a local store where they came in many color Bakelite handles. Have held up very well, but I don't have kids or dig hard ice cream or peanut butter so maybe that's why they lasted. They had no defects as mentioned here. Use a slim spatula for hard stuff, these steak knives are just right for cutting meat, what they are meant for. I use the soup spoons the most for most meals as I'm a bit shakey and can lose stray peas or corn quite easily. With only 2 small drawers in a studio type apartment they freed up a whole drawer where I kept my silver set, and make a very small footprint on the countertop, easy to grab in a hurry too. I don't do p icnics or have dinner guests more than one friend, so they fit my needs. I liked them so much we gave a set to a friend's husband for Christmas as he kept losing her good pieces (oops in the trash or disposal) so he has his own set and they are happy. I like not having to polish silver, the ones you rarely use. These are always shiney. Although mine held up well for the price I can always replace my set if these go south. I like the black with my other kitchen appliances black and chrome, nice looking counter top. I have seen poorer quality sets that bend like tin, these are quality stainless steel. I've also had some with bamboo handles that fell off the metal parts in very hot water. I don't have a dishwasher now so I just wash by hand and hang them back on the holder to air dry.

The silverware is really not very well made. It looks nice, but many of the pieces bent out of shape the first time I used them, and a few others had impertections, including tarnished spots and sharp edges poking out of places on the handles.

I bought this silverware because my house doesn't have drawers for a standard silverware tray. It fits on my counter and is easily accessible for any use that I have of it. The only complaint I have is that the metal is very thin and can often bend or feel like its going to break if put under pressure like scooping with a spoon into something hard, or scraping refrigerated peanut butter out of a jar with knife. I'm sure the set will last as long as taken good care of, but be careful of your strength with these.

The flatware set with caddy wasn't quite what i was hoping for. I was excited when my set arrived. immediately, I opened and inspected each piece. They are quite light in weight and a few peices seemed to be loose in the handle. They are lovely in appearance and I find the knives are sharper than most included in a set. I chose not to return them mostly because I needed to use them right away, but also because despite the problems, overall they are acceptable.

I bought the silverware and caddy as a gift and I was very pleased with the quality.

The quality is very low: as soon as I touched the caddy it broke....weldings are weak. The overall quality meets the low price paid.

For a really good price, we now have a set of flatware to use when there's too much company for our usual set. It's good-looking, though not as solid as more expensive products, reasonably sturdy. My one complaint is that they come out a little spotty from the dishwasher. I wouldn't use this for my everyday eating, though I would definitely purchase it for those starting out in their own place.

I bought this item for my son who is in college and needed something quick. I don't know that I would have bought it for myself. It's attractive but not very durable. I don't know how long it will last.

i have been using this flatware for a month now. The workmanship is decent and hasent lost its shine after running it thru the dishwasher a dozen times. Surely worth the price!
