Have been looking for pendants for a long time, and was thrilled to find this style and quality for such a great price! The lights even had a feature I was not aware of....a pivot-joint at the base of the rod, which I needed when hanging on a sloped ceiling. The color was a bit darker than the picture, a gradient shade of brown to gold. Still worked in my setting...and for this price I can buy a new globe anytime!

Photo not entirely accurate. The actual glass has a heavy brown hue caked on the top, and a lighter brown hue caked on the lower 80 percent. It is a little cheesy. If you do not like the hues, it easily comes off with a cloth and paint thinner, leaving the simple white frost. It is a reasonably well built unit and good for the money.

I ordered 3 beautiful lites for my long hall . They were opaque white in the picture , and were delivered a beautiful pale gold with a darker rim . They were a much better choice than the white. Had I needed the white, I would not have been HAPPY. They were shipped promptly, and packaged very well. The glass was packed very tightly. I have showed them to everyone and bragged about the great deal I got!! bubbesu

Needed some lighting in a stairwell. Bought 2 pendants and hung 1 at full length and the other 24" shorter. Turned a dark tomb into a photo showcase (family pictures on stairwell walls). Pros: Great value - if you price other pendants Straight forward installation Lots of flexibility on pendant length Appearance - beautiful lights Cons: Actual color of shade is darker than pictured Hard to thread wires through pendant support (on last section, I discovered that the threaded inserts can be removed for MUCH easier install) As you can see, my "Cons" really were not a product problem. The color was darker but beautiful. A word in the instructions about removing the threaded inserts prior to installing the wire would have alleviated my second gripe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I was skeptical about this light because of the price but it was exactly what I needed and the quality was much better than I expected.
