We have had this rug for 3 months now and it is holding up well. We have two office chairs that roll constantly in the same area, but no signs of compression or wear. Yes, it does still generate fuzzy balls in the high use areas, but they vacuum up just fine. The color is blue/grey striations. We are using a thin rug pad, but the rug is dense enough that it still feels soft underfoot. If you want cushy, a thicker pad would definitely do the trick. The rug has a heavy, durable feel to it. The pile is not too high, so it doesn't impede the doors at all.
Rug in itself is wonderful, however the color on the picture is true light blue. In real life, however, it is more of a turquoise color with some blue and brown lines. My dark chocolate sectional looks good on it, however, I will have to go get some turquoise/blue throw pillows to complete the look.
We have had the rug for a few weeks now. The color and quality is beautiful. However, we have the carpet on a dark brown hard wood and we have to constantly sweep small wool fibers off the floor. I thought perhaps this would abate after a couple of weeks, but it hasn't. It also appears that our small dog (10 lbs) tends to pull up more when jumping off the sofa and on to the carpet. It doesn't seem to thin the carpet at this point, but the fibers appear to be looser than what I had anticipated and should be considered if going in a high traffic or area where the fibers will be noticeable. The color and thickness of the rug exceeded our expectations. We ended up putting standard carpet padding underneath for a some added cushion, but not really necessary as the rug is thick.
