Not intended for heavy-duty use, but if you like to stretch and reset your carpets (improve appearance and lengthen life), this is an easy choice. Costs less to buy than to rent once from a big-box store.

This tool will work for the occasional user. We had flood damage to a carpet and had to pull it back to dry. My choice was either rent a kicker or for about twice the price buy one. This should work well a time or two and save money in the long run

I was expecting less quality for the price but was very surpised that te kicker was well build and durable. I am not in the carpet business but this sure beats renting one for occasional use, because I now own it for about the same money as renting one!!

I ordered the GRIP Knee Kicker Carpet Installer and it was shipped on time, I was surprised when I opened the box, It was a very good value for the price. I would recommend it to any one.. Overstock is the best.

Had some buckling in the carpet in the toyroom and was dreading the cost to call in a carpet installer to re-stretch it. Saw this and was delighted so ordered it, husband fixed the carpet and I'm telling everyone I know about this product. Thanks for having this life saver here!!

As the saying goes - you get what you pay for. The item does the job , but -do to its design -one must be carefull while installing carpet. The grip kicker has sharp teeth instead of small pins that are found on professional models. These teeth on the main pad can not be adjusted and therefore can cut through the carpet requiring repair to the carpet. The main pins can be adjusted , but care must be taken while using the kicker. Finally - the knee pad on the kicker is not firmly attached. After one installation the pad came free from the tool. Use caution with this tool.

Very nice, heavy-duty product. Just like the pro's use when they install carpets. I bought this because we have a number of carpets that have had to be re-stretched over the years. I have been very pleased with the ease and quality of this item.

This is a very stable product and nicer than I expected for the price. I just had some small areas of my carpet that needed to be fixed and this kicker worked great for a great price.
