    We purchased six of these barstools for a recent kitchen remodel. The color and size are just as descibed. We are very pleased with the comfort and look of the chairs. One had a small defect in the stitching on the back but when I contacted customer service, they were quick to offer us a replacement or partial credit for the chair which we opted for rather than return chair. We merely fixed it ourselves with upholstery tacks. We would definitely recommend this purchase to others!

WE WERE AT THEIR HOME FOR EASTER AND TWO OF THE STOOLS WERE SET OFF IN ANOTHER ROOM--THEY WERE EMBARASSED TO MENTION TO US THAT THREE OF THE STOOLS HAD SPLITS IN THE LEGS OF THE CHAIRS AND THEY CANNOT USE THEM.     Great chairs for the price and better quality than others I've seen and mistakenly ordered. The "leather" is black and the wood is a very very dark brown, but I wouldn't consider it black. They can be slightly annoying to put them together. I consider myself pretty good at putting furniture together and I found these leaving me a bit perplexed. I do recommend having another person help when assembling the seat. Overall, it was a great buy and find. I definitely recommend this purchase.

  • Does the seat have a board support underneath or springs? I recently purchased some stools (not from you) that had springs and sank 2 inches in the center when we sat down, making them too low for our counter.
