I purchased this to sharpen some Rachel Ray kniives I had purchased over a year ago and use routinely. This has sharpened them pretty decent, only have used a few times, will have to see how much it actually lasts. Easy to store, not very big which is a plus.

"Peeling Fingers"
I have a mixed feeling about this item. I contacted the company directly and expressed my unhappiness and they acted very quickly and assured me that this does not usually happen and they will stand be hind their product. I mailed it back to them directly and they will be mailing me back replacements. My Hats off to the company for standing behind their product and "doing the right thing". I will say that if the product ends up being as good as i was told over the phone then my outlook is very high for this product.
