We were so pleased when we opened the package that our futon cover came in. The fabric was the first thing that impressed us. It is made of a heavy canvas-like material. I put it in the dryer on fluff to take the wrinkles out of it, and we put it on our double-size futon. It fit perfectly! We also purchased a futon frame, and when that was assembled, we had an extra couch for our family room and an extra bed for over-night guests. Our cat likes to take naps on it, also.
