this bed is amazingly comfy. you must note though that the foam does trap in body heat so you can get a little too hot sometimes in the middle of the night. this bed DOES come with a removable cover on it that makes it easy to take off and clean, but it is not a waterproof cover. You will want to get a mattress waterproof cover though because if a smell gets in that foam material i just don't think its going to leave. that is the only downfall about the foam material, but they are soooo worth it.
Although the mattress appears to be well made and good quality, I was looking for something that was firmer. I read a couple of the other reviews indicating that this mattress was firm, however, this is softer than I expected.The item was delivered within a week and overall purchase experience was very good.
I've had this bed for a little over a month now and while it is better than the spring mattress I had, I wouldn't recommend buying this mattress. I was led to believe this mattress would be on the firmer side and mine has already begun to go flat and stay flat in areas where I sleep most. And since it's all memory foam, there is no solid foam support underneath to stop complete compression to the bottom. While this hasn't occurred yet, I have no doubt that I will have to buy a new mattress again in the near future. Another problem with this mattress is that it's nowhere near the 8 inches thick as said in the title. Overall, I would have to say DON'T buy this mattress if you're looking for something to last you awhile or if your looking for your mattress to be firm.
Its definatly better than your average bed... and for this price, it was worth it! I wouldn't suggest paying the full price for this item, but thanks to overstock(I sound like a commercial... xD) you can get it for a good amount! I used to have trouble sleeping because my back would start to hurt... I haven't had that problem since I got this bed. So yeah... overall, great, thank you~
This is a nice, comfortable mattress - much better than a spring mattress and worth the price. However, it's not as good as the more expensive 14 inch memory foam mattress I also bought from Overstock. I bought the 8 inch for a guest room bed which, unfortunately, I've been sleeping in regularly lately and I'm missing my 14 inch mattress. The extra inches add more firmness and comfort but, the 8 inch is still better than a comparably priced old spring mattress.
