I have a wood futon frame and an 8" futon mattress. This "futon" cover is for a sofa. It doesn't zip so that it can be put on a futon mattress. It is a cover for a sofa with wood arms. If you look at the picture of the back of the cover on the "futon," it does show the cover fitting over the top and down the back. Really, the only way to describe what I received is a well-made, armless/wood arm sofa. I sadly sent it back, and Overstock was great about it - they even paid for the return shipping. But if you have a futon frame and mattress, this will not fit...it will not go over the back of the back of a wooden frame futon and separate mattress together. It is not wide enough at the top. The title says it is a "Futon Slipcover." I just don't know what kind of futon it would fit...certainly not any futon I've ever seen.

I opened the box, unfolded the cover, put it on the futon and ... viola! Instant makeover. I didn't even have to iron it. It looks great, quality craftsmanship and economical. Highly recommend!

I was very impressed with the weight of the fabric, straight seams and overall solid construction. Love that it covers the back of the futon. Very vibrant blue denim versus an indigo wash. I was disappointed to find that the outer edges of the back skirt aren't turned as they are in front, so the skirt curls out and looks frayed. I ended up tacking it so it would look a little more "finished," but find it odd that they took a shortcut on two lousy seams when the rest of the cover looks so polished. Like tripping at the finish line. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Everything about the futon cover is very pleasing. The quality of fabric to the quality of workmanship is great. It has made my room come, alive even my grandkids think it looks great. I show it to my neighbors and anyone that will listen and look as it has made such an inviting difference to my room. I did have a little struggle getting it on or understanding what the elastic strips were for but once I started and with a little help, walla, it was on and looks great.
