I have never before ordered a mattress sight unseen. I purchased a used futon frame but absolutely did not want the mattress that was on it. It was to go in an office for additional guests. I took my time and reviewed all products and read and re-read info about the products. I am pleased with the quality of product and the delivery time. This is not the first time I ordered from Overstock and won't be the last. Great company!

We had been shopping for a new mattress for our futon before we checked overstock.com. To our surprise, the very same item we had been considering was available at great savings! Not only is this futon comfortable for sitiing, it is comfortable for sleeping. It arrived quicker than anticipated and was easy although clumsy to move into the apartment. Now we not only have a clean sharp looking futon, but a handy sleeper for anyone when they come to visit.

The futon is exactly what we wanted. It is so comfortable and great for everyday and night use. My teenage daughter loves it. You can't go wrong ordering this futon. Shipping was awesome, we rec'd it within 4 days of placing the order.

As always fast shipping, well packaged and excellent product. Very comfortable mattress. Comfortable for sitting or sleeping. It does take quite an effort to fold it into sofa position, but it is doable for one person. I would definately buy another if the need arises at this price!

This futon is great, very very comfortable, one of the stitch holes was undone when arrived, but has not affected the futon at all. I have slept on it every night, and it is so comfortable, have had it a couple months. I have just moved it into guest room as a couch and spare bed as I have gotten a sleep number bed for main bedroom. I have gotten and very nice couch/bed frame for futon which fits it perfectly. This futon is quite heavy about 90 pounds, but you will not be disappointed, it is really great and the price is very good. Will buy another one if needed. I have also gotten the micro-suede double cording cover for it, which fits perfectly. This is truly a great buy from Overstock. Highly Recommended

I have now purchased two of these for my daughters' rooms that have futon bunk beds. Other mattresses without the coil springs just fall flat. This one is so much more comfortable. Spend a little more and get this pocketed coil mattress.

I am pleased with the quality of the purchase and the delivery. As with these types of things, your happiness will depend on personal preferences. For me, the futon is a little too soft. When I sit on it, I sink down a little bit, and I personally don't like that in a mattress so I ordered an extra firm mattress topper. I haven't received that yet, but I'm hoping it will make the difference I want. I think that if you like a mattress/futon on the softer side you will be very pleased with this purchase. Even with the softness, I have slept well on it.

i have seen futons in the past and, quite frankly, was not that impressed with them. This is an actual piece of furniture that looks good in our family room. With the additional high end mattress, it is very comfortable for sleeping or even lounging on.

I looked for months to find a mattres that was in my price range and had the qualities I was searching for. I am so glad I found this mattress. It was better than I thought it would be.

This is an exceptional matturess and what a great price! It is extremely comfortable...gently firm and supportive while having a nice "give" that most futon mattresses don't have. It is thick and cushioned, which means it takes two people to pull it up from the flat position to the couch position. I have tried many futon mattresses and this one outshines them all. What a terrific mattress and great company to purchase from!

I bought this mattress nearly 3 years ago. I remember that the delivery was much faster then I expected. This mattress is still going strong and still extremely comfortable.

I'll preface the commentary with this being a great buy for the money, as in, what I got for the money spent. I'll start with; The Pros It is firm with just enough give (I'm 5'8" 215 lbs.) It supports me without sinking in the middle (although I've only had it 3 days). The navy blue I received matches perfectly with the corresponding color in the pics. After letting is sit flat for 12 hours, it was the full 10" as described. It fits my full-size futon frame famously. The quality of the materials is an 8 out of 10, easy. It has a very sturdy, well build "feel" to it. I am confident it will last a while. The manufacturing smell it arrived with was faint at best and dissipated by the next day, without the need for fresheners. It folds well in the frame. The springs and internal construction are resilient, as though two people could… have fun on it…without the mattress being an issue. The Cons Although the cover has a zipper, I don’t believe it comes off as it has stitching on each side that I believe connects straight through in the middle as you can see in the photos that gives it that “pillow” look. I unzipped it to see what was inside and the first thing I saw was the cotton that looked like if you mess with it, it will fall apart. I zipped it back up. I will buy a cover to go over the mattress. Although it does fold up well in the frame, it does slip. I will have to lay a non-slip woven rubber matt down on the “sit” side to prevent the mattress from slipping off the edge, and my futon frame has a lip to prevent that. When I lifted it up from the frame to flip it once (to make sure it was expanding evenly on both sides), a sharp-ended spring came straight through the top of the mattress! I was shocked. I jiggled the mattress back and forth to allow the spring to work its way back inside and it did. I haven’t seen it since, but will watch for it. If it reappears I will flip it back over, as shipping to me was two dollars, shipping it back will be not two dollars. This one really bothered me. Summary It’s worth the money, I would recommend it to a friend, and I would buy another one despite its cons.

The other reviews cover the majority of aspects correctly. It's a cushy mattress, thick enough to struggle a bit taking the couch shape. Expect to have miniature revealings of the white stuffing where they have cut little holes for the black strings to come through and make little knots. The sage color is not a sweet or bright green but a quiet elegant tone. Overall quite pleased.

Very comfortable. I've only had it a few weeks but it seems very durable. Good product for the price.

This futon is so comfortable! I am in my third trimester and sleep on this futon over my expensive pillow top king mattress because it is firm yet soft. I highly recommend it, especially for the price!

Product came sooner than I thought (based on delivery info from the site) which was a nice surprise as I had a guest scheduled to arrive within a day of it arriving. Surprisingly firm & well balanced. Was well worth ordering, as even with the shipping, I had it on my doorstep without breaking my back & well within the price of buying something comparable (if I had the time to go looking here there & everywhere) at a nearby retailer.

I purchased the Burgundy color futon matt and agree with the reviews of the color looking more like Plum. Not purple but more of a deep red/Plum. I still love it, actually happy with the color change. When I took it out of the box, the color looked a very deep purple, dont let this fool you, once it is removed from the vaccum seal wrap you see the true color. After leaving it open for 48hrs as instructed it opened up to the full 10" size and is VERY comfortable. I definately recommend this futon and am very happy with my purchase.

We are very pleased with this futon mattress, it is thick and comfortable as both a couch and a bed. I had to sleep on it the other night while husband was coughing like crazy and I was very comfortable. The cover has a zipper so it can be removed and washed. The color we bought matched the color on the computer....we are very happy with this purchase!
