This futon looks and feels just fine - the only issue is that it is too thin and after sitting upon the futon for a week or so, the padding starts to fade and you start to feel the metal supports that make up the futon - if a futon is necessary for you - I definitely suggest this, if it's not, I'd spend the extra money on a comfy sofa or buy two futon beds...

I bought this product because of the reviews, and the price. This is not a 6 inch mattress. Not even close. It is about as flat as the futon I was replacing, and that one was flat! It was also about 20 years old. The reviews and the direction said "let it relax." I did that. It is still flat.I can't help but think that because of the way it was packed, if the foam wasn't somehow compromised. I don't know. It may have been 6 inches before it was crammed into the box; now it is about 2 inches. :-(

My mattress arrived well in time and and I was able to use it right away. The packagaing was easy to open and the instructions were clearly written. I would recommend this website because the shiiping costs are low and the prices are competitive. I will most likely buy more stuff from here.

Futon and Cover arrived in a very timely manner and in great shape. Futon took just a day to "relax" in to a comfortable feel. Cover is durable and attractive (doesn't wrinkle) and was also very affordable. I am very pleased with both the futon and cover.

I have ordered several times and not had a bad experience until this time.We ordered a 6" thick futon. It came really fast and tightly squished in the box. No problems so far. They include a note that it has been compressed and will take a day or so to expand. OK.It expanded to a full 4", not the 6" I was expecting. Because it has expanded, it would no longer fit in the box so I can't return it. 4" is thin (as in I can feel the wooden slats supporting the mattress. Not good.We did have a 2" memory foam topper on hand and have used it to create a softer experience. I now have the 6".This was not what I was expecting.

I would not recommend this product. The quality is okay but the mattress is not very thick. I regret buying it and wish I spent the extra money to buy a higher quality product. There is no support in the mattress and does not look like a 6 inch thickness, more like 4 inches.

This mattress is a little too thin to withstand real life with a TV-watching husband and a couple of dogs. Also has a "foreign" aroma like a wheat field or something -- not awful, but a little odd. For the price it's OK, but I'm thinking I should've stepped up a notch. Sitting is OK, but the "back" of the sofa collapses, so...Don't hate it, but I guess you get what you pay for. The construction quality is just fine, but it's not wearing well.
I would definitely recommend this futon to friends and family. I bought the natural color, and I would warn others it is a very light color. I would recommend a darker color if you have pets or children. The natural color has a woven look about it. I put it in my home office which is decorated in a beach theme; light and dark blues with a beach scene border. It matches the room perfectly! Good value for the money; fairly comfortable; great appearance; puffs up in 24 hours or so.

This was the first time I ordered from Overstock and let me just say I was pleasantly surprised! The futon arrived very fast (4 days from time of order) and I was very pleased with the futon. I did as what was recommended (from instructions inside with the futon) and let it sit for 48 hrs to get the fluff back (from being compressed for shipping. We're going to use this in our family room in the basement and for occasional guests staying with us. Very pleased!
The futon is nice and thick and seems to be of very good quality. I was pleased also with the speed of delivery. It was a gift for my daughter for her birthday and I waited too long to order and didn't think such a large item would arrive on time but it did and I was happy about that. I would not hesitate to order from Overstock again.

The Overstock shopping is easy and fast. The futon mattress I bought was delivered to me in a week or so and Overstock gave clear information about how it was delivered and where it was. The mattress is used for occasional guests and serves very well in that purpose and would be good even for everyday use, if needed.

It is very comfortable. It's a pleasure to sit on it. My whole family sits on the mattress in my family room, so it gets a lot of use & it is holding up well. I used my slipcover over it to protect it.
