More than I expected!
Love my sleek, new leather-looking chairs. The padding is comfortable, but not super quilted and bulky. A nice surprise were the backs of the chairs which are not shown. The "leather" can be seen from behind with an "x" cross of the wood. Provides gentle back support. (Often, I work at my laptop from my dining room table.) This is just the simple yet contemporary look I was going for. To echo other reviewers, they were also easy to assemble. I had all four set up within an hour. My Husband was pleasantly surprised! I'm ordering 2 more to accomodate our long table. Yea, ME!

Frisco Bay Oak Dining Chairs -- Yes, I recommend!
This was a great purchase!!! Definitely a great value for the money. The chairs are the same color that's shown on the screen. The leather looks nice and is soft. The stitching in the leather is subtle. We were very pleased- bought 6 chairs and they have held up very well since we purchased (with plenty of use over the holidays). These are actually sturdy, sufficiently weighted chairs. Some chairs are lightweight and these are NOT, which is a plus! The chairs are an average dining room chair so you could mix in other dining chairs if you wanted to and they would be the same height. The assembly process was easy, it didn't take long to put them together. It was only attaching 2 legs to the seat and the seat to the back of the chair. Not many tools were needed (actually came with a tool to screw everything together). I would definitely recommend these chairs for future purchases and might consider getting one more set.

great looking chairs
I ordered 3 sets and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived 5 days later. Chairs were packaged well and only took my husband an hour to put all 6 together. He did give up on the little allen wrench after one chair and put the rest together using his drill attachment. The chairs are surprisingly heavy which I hope will equate to long lasting. The color of the seats and backs and the wood are fantastic and perfectly complement my large Irish Coast table. We got them in time for Thanksgiving and everyone commented on how comfortable they are.

Difficulties with Delivery/Beautiful Product
We received the two chairs in an opened box that was falling apart and had almost no packing material. One chair was beautiful and put together easily. The other chair had serious damage and should have never left the warehouse. The seat was not attached to the frame..and the holes for screws were damaged. No screws to attach the seat and the cushion had a gash. I returned one chair and received replacement of 2 chairs at no cost. I am appreciative. it was not a good experience.

Crossed wood backside!
Very happy with purchase, would not use the tool enclosed use one with a handle that can flip without taking off! This will make for a tighter screw and save alot of time and achy hands! I am a 56 yr old lady that put 4 chairs easily together in just over an hour! Leather very dark brown,appears black like my table, love them!

Great Chairs
We wanted nice chairs for the kitchen eating area. These are great chairs. The seats are large without being overwhelming. The amount of leather is just enough to make them super nice and not overdone. Most of the chairs we had found were overstuffed or no padding at all. We got them in time for Christmas and everyone loved them.
