The unit in the picture looks exactly like the unit I have in my bedroom, which has the touch-control panel as pictured and a remote control as mentioned in one of the reviews posted. HOWEVER, your product description says it has ROTARY controls!!??? Which is correct, the picture or the description? I thought rotary controls went out with the last generation of dinosaurs.

I originally purchased this small window unit for my bathroom for added cooling during showers/blowdrying/makeup in the summertime. But by the time it arrived, my AC had gone out and I was forced to use the unit in my bedroom. I popped it in the window, pulled out the adjustable side panels and turned it on. That's it. It did a great job of coolling the whole large room with the aid of a small fan on the floor to keep air circulating. I am very pleased and recommend this unit highly.Read More
It arrived within 5 days of ordering. When I pulled it out of the box, 4 fins were damaged. This probably occurred by the manufacture. There was no other damage. I doubt you can buy one without a couple of bent fins, so I did not send it back. It is light weight, however it cools effectively. This is the first unit I have purchased that has openings on top for rain, dust and debris to collect. I didn't notice this online when I purchased it. Hopefully, the grid on top is not a design flaw. I will have to see how it survives a winter. It's best to use the energy saver in the daytime because at night it will wake you up as iit cycles on and off. I leave it on all night with a slower fan speed. Its too early to tell if I will save any money on my electric bill. I bought this one because the side panels were included. I wasn't sure if the others offered for sale had side panels. It took 15 minutes to install, all it needed was a screwdriver. Everything else was included, even the remote came with batteries.Read More
A/C feature works well, but disappointed with how loud the fan is -- both on A/C and just air. Do like the remote control feature and the small compact size. Relatively easy to install.Read More
The width is 16", not 15.5. And they sent a completely different model than in the picture.Read More
