I absolutely love the large cubes. It keeps the water in my thermos nice and cold for many hours. To release the cubes, just run the tray under water while twisting it so it gets between the ice. Using warm water on the outside helps you push them out fro the bottom. I've had 3 of them for about 6 month of constant use.
