I was concerned the quality would be just so so . When I received the product I was excited to see the quality was VERY high end. The metal was durable and very well made. It makes about 3 full cups¿. The screen is very well made so coffee grounds do not filter through when pressing the batch Strongly recommend this product

I love this thing! I own a very large coffee travel mug and this size is perfect for that large mug.......to take me to and through my first hours of work/or it fills two large java mugs at home. French press is the way to go. I also own a coffee grinder and it has the ability to go from a very course grind (perfect for this press) or to an espresso grind.....for my cappuccino and auto drip machine. With the coarse ground I have NO grinds from this French press and I've been using it everyday since receiving it. I'm frugal, but I use the nation's number one tested whole bean for home: Eight O'clock coffee (according to Yahoo's survey) and just love the quality of my Cup of Joe. It's unbeatable in any coffee house in my opinion! My appliances: the grinder, auto-drip pot, and French press all sit on their own little tray on my kitchen counter and I must say... this French press totally classes up the place! The stainless steel compliments my kitchen nicely. And my coffee reminds me of the islands.... Jamaica, Hawaii, Bahamas........silky, rich, and very dark.

bought this as a surprise for my husband, the coffee lover...he was so happy when he opened the gift, but more happy when he tasted the coffee...He has showed this off to several friends who have all enjoyed an excellent cup of coffee

Excellent value on this French Press. Much better price than most others, works great. I had to get this to brew my Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. These are the best for making coffee.

This is just a great way to have a couple of cups of coffee without having to use the large coffee maker!

The quality of the French Press 5-cup Stainless Steel Coffee/Tea maker is superior to what we imagined. we are also very pleased that the French Press is so simple to use. Also, the French Press provides superior coffee in just 5-minutes. Although we have not made tea with it yet, we will one of these days, if we can just get over the excitement of using the coffee maker.

The french press is easy to use and makes really great coffee. I haven't used anything but this to make my coffee since it arrived. What a difference in taste! It may take a little extra time to make in the morning, but it's so worth it. I just wished that I ordered a larger french press.

If you like grounds in your coffee and parts that keep coming loose this is the item for you. To be blunt...it's a piece of crap.

I had never drank or used a french press or the cofee made from one. I was sold the first time I used it. You can see the oils that you are not getting when using filters. I personally get one large cup from this but the strength of the coffee is outstanding. I cannot drink more than one cup in a row and I need a lot to get me going in the morning. I am also able to drink my coffee black now because the flavors you get from using this along with using freshly ground beans is amazing. I am in coffee heaven!

I love coffee through a french press and as soon as I got this opened, I made myself a cup! Great quality, in fact, I thought it would not be as good a quality as it is. The decorative nature of the stainless steel makes it pretty enough to leave on the stove, counter or table. If you are looking for a French Press, get this one.

Item was exactly as described, that the only good thing I can say about this product. The glass did not fit properly, it was too slim and slid when you tried to pour the coffee also something (I've yet to figure out) prevented the press/filter from doing its' job, grounds were always in the coffee.

I LOVE THE COFFEE, GREAT TASTE SO ON AND SO FORTH, HOWEVER THE DESIGN OF THIS PRODUCT IS SO SO SINCE THE SCREEN ON THE PRESS ALLOWS GRINDS TO ENTER THE FILTER REQUIRING A CLEANING TO REMOVE THESE UNWANTED REMINDERS. I WILL SAY THE INCORPORATION OF THE METAL SADDLE HELPS TO PREVENT THE MOST UNWANTED BREAKING OF THE GLASS. I WOULD PAY THE EXTRA $ FOR A BETTER USE AND CLEAN MODEL, ONE THAT DOES NOT NEED TO BE REASSEMBLED EACH TIME I USE IT. ALSO KEEP IN MIND THE SIZE OF A CUP IN THEIR MIND IS 6 OZ. Great coffee press - very attractive on my counter. Highly recommend.

Difficult to clean the press insert screen. Also the metal around the glass container itself makes it hard to clean also. Could do without the decoration on the container. Makes good coffee though
