Coffee comes out tasting fresh, never stale or carrying a weird aftertaste. It's also very easy to clean and use, and seems pretty durable too. I love this product, I wasn't a big fan of coffee before I starting using it. I haven't had any issues and I've been using it every day for the last 3 weeks.

When my arthritis started making it more difficult for me to take apart my Italian coffee maker, I decided to go back to making it with a french press. I have used this type of method in the past and discontinued due to the expensive replacement glass inserts--I broke every press I have ever owned. Oooops. I started my search at O because I know these things can be pricey. I have used another well known brand but they all do the same thing. I am very happy with this press particularly because the cut out design on the metal holder helps me measure how much water to pour into the press for the number of cups I want for any given day. This press does look nice when sitting on the counter as another reviewer mentioned. (I plan to be extra careful not to break it!) The glass is secure and the metal holder surrounds more than half the glass so it helps protect it from accidental bumps. The price was average but these type of makers are more expensive in stores.

If you like coffee strong and lively, buy one French Press. Nothing between you and the aroma and full flavor of good coffee. The price is right too!

I got this french press coffee maker for my husband for Valentine's Day. He was weary of the "penance coffee" offered at his workplace. Now he is the star on the floor, making the best coffee around. He loves it!

I bought this one since I am the only person in my home who drinks coffee. I didn't want to have to mess with a big electic coffee maker and all the accesories. Not only does this one looks nice, but it is easy to store in the cupboard or on the counter for decoration. I really do think coffee tastes better from a french press, more flavor comes through. Very easy to clean, just rinse the filter out and pop the rest in the dish washer. Highly recommend!

we use it every day, and love it. however if you want use it for both coffee and tea, you may need to get two of them.

only problem I see so far is that the caraf is not double glass and consequently is not insulated to hold the heat. Otherwise, its a good looking, hopefully durable, good value product.

i ordered the french press coffee maker to replace my percolator. it is easy to use, easy to clean and works well. it allows you to control the strength of the coffee brew as well as determine how much coffee to make depending on who you are serving. it's a good value for the money. i highly recommend this product.

My old electric coffee maker recently died on me and, looking through the offerings of Overstock.com, I found this little gem of a coffee press. Simple design, modern and sleek, I keep mine on the counter. It's too pretty to hide. My favorite thing about this device is that, after making your coffee, you can quickly wash it, then use it to foam up your milk, too. The electric ones can't do that trick. Reason enough to buy this well-designed press. Highly recommended by this buyer.

Shipment arrived quickly without any problems. This press is easy to use, can adjust amounts of coffee you wish to brew, and it's easy to clean. It has a "show off" spot in my kitchen.

I couldn't imagine that French Press could replace the Bodum model I'd used for years, but this one has, and more! Operation is very smooth, I like that there's almost no plastic used. One note: I keep mine under a coffee-cozy (like a tea-cozy) and when I go for the second cup, need to use the cozy as a potholder for the metal handle. But this is a tiny inconvenience and anyone debating a French press purchase will be most happy wtih this one!

We're picky, picky about out coffee...burr grind fresh beans, etc. This is an easy-to-use alternate to our expresso machine. Quick, and the coffee is very good, very smooth. Just the right size for two mugs full.

Have wanted a French Press coffeemaker for ages. Good deal on this one, as well as the artistic appeal and quality sold me. Have to admit I used it a few times (at first) and then got tired of the coffee sediment and abandoned it for a while.... But, recently I decided to try something, which has restored the Press to the front of my countertop! Now, I use a small (4 cup size) coffee filter around the bottom of the French Press filter. NO Gooky sediment! Happy coffee, Happy Me! Love my Press now.

I am the only one in the house that drinks coffee and I like it very strong with some French vanilla creamer. This produces exactly what I wanted in a portion that is perfect. I use a big mug. But if I were to serve coffee to a guest, I could get two decent cup fulls. Love it.
