We really like the product, we are no longer buying frozen french fries because home made fries are the best!

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Great quality.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? The product was accurate, we had trouble using sweet potatoes, they were too hard even after soaking.
I was somewhat displeased- the cutter is sharp to the touch however you really have to use a lot of power to push a potato through. I was really interested in making sweet potato fries...forget it. you are unable to push a sweet potato through. You really have to muscle this gadget. I would just as soon use a knife & cutting board.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. not what i had in mind for a commercial style french fryer
It was a lot more heavy duty than the picture looked, so I was very excited. But the first time I used it (and I had read the instructions and was doing everything the way they said) I was very disappointed. I did sweet potato and regular fries. My husband and I could barely push through the sweet potato.(And we're pretty strong) And it wasn't that much easier with the regular. I am guessing the blades are just not that sharp. And then when I cleaned it, it looked like the blades were already bent, and I had only done 2 potatoes. So I would say it is not as heavy duty as it looks.

Excellent. Professional quality, more easily cleaned than the professional models I have used due to a smoother finish, but appears to be just as strong.
This french fry slicer is sturdy and will not wear out! My doubting husband was so pleased that he ordered the other two slicer heads for different size french fries. He can usually slam a potato through the slicer with one press of the handle. It usually takes me two or three pushes to get it through...still a great time saver with perfectly uniform fries!
