We're very pleased with this ottoman. It's very well-made, with beautiful soft brown top fabric and the "leather" on the bottom is really attractive. The ottoman looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture than it really is. It's also wider than I was expecting, which makes it great for sharing while sitting on the sofa in front of the TV. The top is fairly firm and would be comfortable as extra seating for a party, etc. Blends in nicely with our dark green sofa and oak wood book shelves and furniture. Great deal for the price. Just wish the matching sectional had a regular shaped sofa -- would definitely buy it, too. Arrived within 2 days after ordering, with easy assembly (just add the feet, which are enclosed inside the zipped compartment of the base).
