I puchased this quilt and the quality is very good for the price, it was an awesome buy! Though the background color in the picture and the true background color are a bit different! The true background color is like an antique pale yellow, it is very pretty, but it is a bit darker than the picture. And I can barely see the scalloped edge on this qult, not like the photo. But don't let that stop you, It is not like the cheap $19.99 quilts you see at the low end stores at all, it has a more of an hierloom look to it! it looks like a quilt that my grandmother would have had, it is very pretty and very large!!!!! I bouhgt the king size for my cal king bed that has a box spring, mattress and an 11" memory foam mattress, it sits very high off the ground and I will just need to use a bedskirt on the bottom box spring and the quilt will cover the 11" memory foam & the reg mattress and part of the box spring. It would go to the floor if I didn't have the extra 11" memory foam matteress. The top of the quilt will fold over the pillows too! No shams needed! I am a bedding fanatic, and I would strongly recommend this quilt! expecially if you like the victorian, antique or shabby chic look. IT'S A BEAUTY! ORDER UP!! Thanks Overstock! P.S. I forgot to tell you that the BACK of this quilt is BEAUTIFULL !!! And I mean BEAUTIFULLl!! Outstanding job on he contrasting fabric!!!

I would recommend this bedspread to anyone who likes yellow in the bedroom. The picture was deceiving and showed on 2-different computer screens to be more of a beige background color. It is, however, a bright greenish yellow background which I plan to dye a darker tan. The quality and size are great. And, I love the fact that is was preshrunk. Since I just purchased an oversized King mattress, I was having difficulty in finding a true King-sized bedspread. This was the perfect size and my husband I are enjoying sleeping under it. Since we have dogs that sleep with us it was also important that it was machine washable. Thanks for the great price and cheap shipping. I will buy from Overstock.com again.

I searched a long time for a 100% cotton old fashioned quilt/bedspread that was long enough to cover my King Size mattress. I'm so glad for the other reviews they definately helped with making my choice & I wasn't disappointed! This quilt is a Great Buy & good quality for the price!!!

Really liked this bedspread. I had a hard time fitting my bed before finding the Francesca spread. It is very good quality & is pretty as well as being rugged.I would like to see it become available in other colors as well as the beige. If you need a larger spread, this is the one for you!

According to the description the bedspread was to have scalloped edges - it does not - they are straight edges. It is a good heavy spread like a quilt type and the colors are as described. It arrived a day earlier than expected which was a nice surprise.

This quilt is terrific for the price. Nice heavy quality with excellent stitching. I would agree with the reviewer who said that the background color is more of a buttercup ivory, which is perfect for me since I wanted that antique look.Edges are not scalloped as the picture shows and reviewers have remarked on. This is okay with me, since there is enough going on with this quilt to need it.I have a very high King sized bed with a thick mattress, so this size was ideal for my situation. Thanks again overstock!

I am very happy with this bedspread. The scalloped edges do not seem as pronounced as the picture shows, but that is not a problem for me at all. The length and width are perfect for our king size bed. The color, fabric, print on front and back are all great and this is exactly what I was looking for. It has that old-fashioned, handed-down look that goes so nicely with our decor. Another great purchase from Overstock.com!

I love this spread. It's the right size for my bed. I have a Calif.King and find it hard to get spreads that will go almost to the floor and have enough to tuck under pillows. This spread does it all!!! The colors are beautiful, soft and warm. The picture shows with a scallop edging, and it does not have that, but the beauty of this spead you can over look that. I would recommed this to anyone who has a king size bed!!!!!

To me this bedspread does not have an "ecru backgound" as described. It it definitely more of a dull butter color which does lend itself to an antique look. It is generously sized & long enough to cover the pillows on a Cal King size bed. It is good quality & does have a subtle scalloped edge to it. The only reason I gave it an overall rating of 4 is because, in my opinion, the background color does not match the photo or description. It's beautiful though, especially if you know how to decorate with gold color tones (which I do not).

since my son and dog wrestled on the old spread and tore it up i had to change. I tried to stay within the color range i already have. The flowers match my curtians well, but the background color is very yellow, i guess to give it an antique look. I didn't realize the spread was reversable. But it stays on the bed, the dog doesn't tear it up (our wiemanar like to scratch before she lays down) and it keeps us warm. We have it over an overstuffed down quilt we bought from overstock last year which keeps the warmth without wieght. I haven't washed it yet, but will soon it's been raining here and if i look close i'm sure i'll see mud stains from Hazel (dog).

My husband and I love this bedspread!! It is a great quality spread for the money and is the perfect weight for year round use. It's also oversized which is good for a taller bed frame. After I got the bedspread, I ordered an 18 inch rose colored dust ruffle and matching pillow shams which really enhances the look. I wish the spread had the option for matching pillow shams, however. When a friend saw this bedspread, she wanted to order one, but it was not available in a a queen size. Five stars all the way!!

I love this quilt, It is a great size for a queen size bed... runs almost to the bottom!! it's so warm and a great snuggler... only wish I could get the pillow shams to match. Only down side of quilt...

this item is not as pictured. it does not have the scalloped edges, and is longer on the sides than is pictured. i wish it was scalloped, but even w/o that embellishment, it is very very pretty, seems well-made and appears durable, and i really love it in my bedroom. i also wish shams were available, along w/ maybe matching curtains!

This is a decent quilt. The colors are not what they appear. Others described it as more gold than ivory, I would say more tan than ivory. The price was ok for the quality of the piece. I would recommend it, it is just not exactly what I was looking for.

I love this quilted bedspread! My two dogs sleep on the bed, which severely limits bedding choices. Not only is this bedspread pretty and even heavier than I expected, it is sturdy enough to take on 30-lb and 55-lb dogs. It looks so good, my daughter was impressed (not easy to do). I may have a struggle on my hands to keep it from traveling to their house! It is a more buttery color background than off-white, but I read the reviews so expected that and is a beautiful print. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this purchase.

I selected this quilt based on reviews of product and I'm glad I did. I used the King size quilt on my full size antique brass bed. It fits like a bedspread, which is exactly what I wanted. The shams would have been nice to have, but I plan to get striped or solid shams and pillows to accent.

I usually don't order sight-unseen, but based on customer reviews, I decided to give it a try. Glad I did. The item arrived in an amazing 3 days and I am very pleased with both appearance and quality, looks great with the "old-timey" decor of my bedroom. Generous size, nice weight, lovely subdued colors, couldn't ask for more. Thanks!

Quality, comfort and beauty. I have a rice bed and I have been searching high and low for a quilt for years. Up to now all of them were too short to cover my sideboards. This spread is quilted and covers my bed perfectly. You can not beat the value! I am delighted!

This bedspread is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. It is absolutely beautiful! I agree that the background color is more a golden-buttery color than it shows in the picture however I think that makes it even more attractive. The spread is very well made, is heavier in weight than I expected (in a good way), is very comfortable to sleep under and really keeps me warm! I must compliment Overstock-com as well. This item was shipped to me very quickly. I'm very pleased all around!
