When buying mirrors especially for bathrooms, it is important to look for mirrors that are backed with silver. As steam from showers fill the room it combines with the metal in the mirror and the mirror will begin to rust. Double coated silver mirrors (as this one is) have the most tolerance to humidity and will last significantly longer. On a side note they also produce a warmer reflection than Aluminum.
This mirrors is also made using high quality float glass. Have you ever seen a mirror where the reflection is just not right. It may be a bit blurry in the distance or warp you image, these mirrors are usually made using sheet glass. Float glass mirrors have a much cleaner finish which yield much less distortion.

I love this mirror, it is beautiful in my bathroom. We hung it horizontally which fills the space I had nicely; was large enough for the 42" vanity I have. The only problem, which was easily solved, was with the provided anchors. They were not stable in the wall and, according to my husband, didn't seem strong enough to handle the weight of the mirror. He put in larger, stronger anchors and, consequently, larger screws to hang the mirror. He had to modify the metal brackets on the back of the mirror to accommodate the larger screws, but that took 2 minutes to bend the metal a bit. Had we not spent time trying their anchors first, we/he would have had this up in about 10 minutes.I love the frameless look and the scalloped edges add a bit of elegance to the total feel. I would definitely recommend this mirror to anyone.
The mirror arrived quickly and in great shape. We we very worried that it would be damaged in shipping. Our past experience with trying to order a mirror was not successful. We had ordered three previous mirrors from another well-known company and all three arrived in pieces. We were amazed at how well this mirror was packaged. It looks beautiful (even prettier that it does online). This was a great experience.
