Glass is thin and I worry about moving them around my granite countertops.

These canisters hold a lot and the lids screw on and off easily and are air tight. They arrived packaged in molded styrofoam, so no chance of breaking! I am very happy with this purchase.

I thought these canisters were made of green glass, but it appears they are painted. When I filled them with flour and sugar, the color looked very uneven. Not what I expected.
