Nice enough, easy assembly, but still overpriced
This IS a nice shoe rack (though I use mine as shelving for extra clothing), and does have a nice look to it. Assembly was very straightforward - just 16 screws (included) and the pilot holes all lined up on my item. You will just need a phillips head screwdriver (not included).Note the screw heads are exposed on the outside. They are recessed, but still exposed. I think for the money, I was just expecting a notch up in quality. The shoe rack is still pretty light weight and a bit wobbly, which is ok (it still functions just fine) - I was just imagining something a little heaver and more substantial for the price. It definitely looks better than those fake particle board veneered shelves you get at big box stores. I just think it is overpriced for what it is. I like it, but I wouldn't pay the same price for another one. I have other similar all-wood items from overstock that were less expensive than this.
