I weigh over 300 pounds and needed a step stool / ladder that I could use around the house. This one works for me. Overall it's a bit heavier and bulkier than I'd prefer, but I understand why it has to be that way as it has to hold up to a 330 pound person and must be made more durable.
I
purchased this specifically to access the top areas of a 10' high walk-in
closet. It folds fairly flat so it can be tucked in a corner and retrieved
when needed. It is sitting an a flat tile surface which stabilizes it enough
so that you feel secure on the first three steps. The handle is out of reach
when you get to the top or fourth step, so I would only recommend using it
when there is something nearby to grasp. Only a daredevil would use it on
carpeting or an uneven surface.BTW the condition was perfect though the box
was crushed.

i really like my new four step foldable kitchen ladder! i am glad i get the four step ladder because if i am lifting something a little heavy i can set it on the top step. i feel very secure climbing up and down the ladder. i was surprised to see how how fast i received the ladder!
I would recommend this particular kitchen ladder, BUT you must be very careful with this ladder it slides on tile. That is the only thing I don't like about it.
