The pop-up was made of plastic, and when the plumber tightened it down during installation, it broke, causing leaks under the sink. (A certain amount of torque must be used to properly seat the parts.) The plumber had to return and replace the broken part with a brass pop-up. Since we purchased FOUR of these faucets from Overstock.com, this meant a very unexpected and unpleasant additional charge for the replacement parts and additional plumber's fees. We and the plumber were quite surprised that the part was made of plastic. The product description did NOT indicate this - it notes 'brass'.

The faucet was OK to install. At first the cold water would drip, then they sent out a new ceramic ball and it seems better. I love the 'look' of the faucet but wish it was more sturdy. The handles wiggle a little.

I like this faucet set, it is rugged and looks great. Good quality construction. My only complaint is that it has a mixing valve with connnections at 90 degrees making it hard to plumb. It also has a plastic drain pipe rather than brass.

I am compelled to review this product which we purchased over a year ago. I thought I had already reviewed this item but did not see it as I was searching for a matching 4"centered faucet today. While my husband did the installation, I remember he had a slight problem with the sink stopper, but he is not a plumber, and he completed the task and the unit works marvelously! Even after almost a year of use, it looks great and works great! In fact, I was reluctant to purchase this item based on some product information about difficulties with cleaning the surface and a special care caution. This caution seems to have been over stated as we have had no isusue with the appearance. It is great looking and works well - very smoooth on/off, no splash. Much better quality, heavy duty, elegant than expected for the price.

As the previous review, the pop up is made form plastic was not a good one. I replaced it with a metal one. The valve stem is made of vinyl/plastic and it could hold the screw that keep the handle in very well. After the few weeks of use, the handles are already loose and can't be tighten. One of the valve is already dripping.

Inexpensive, nice looking faucet. Was a little difficult to install (My husband and I did it together). Installation took longer than we expected.
