I am very happy with my purchase. It was well packaged for safe delivery. The table was easy to put together. I thought the directions/pictures for the chairs could've been better, but once you make one correctly it's easy to do the other 5. If you have a smaller room, keeping 4 chairs and table w/out leaf is perfect! It looks nice and well made. I priced tables and chairs seperately and found this to be a good buy.

Very pleased with the table and chairs--extender mechanism a bit challenging, but chair assembly instructions sparse but clear. looks classy, good deal.

The set is nice, and stylish. The chairs aren¿t the most comfortable I¿ve experienced. It¿s not the kind of set that would encourage you to just sit around the table talking after a meal. If I saw the set in a store showroom, I would not have paid as much for it as I did. Live and learn.

The table and chairs look great, took about an hour to assemble total - the only confusing part about the assembly was the designated back and front chair legs. (which I kept forgetting). Table is very sturdy, great color, and assembly is just a matter of screwing the legs on. Good size for an apartment - and extends out to a very nice size for more people.

Our set arrived last night (weeks earlier than we initially thought) My husband assembled the set today. Needless to say that we are very happy with the set. The chairs (which i feared might be uncomfortable) are VERY comfy and the set is extremely modern looking. I gave it 4 stars for ease of assembly because my husband said it was a little though to assemble. But all in all, we are very satisfied and I guess all we can hope for is that the set lasts.

This is a really nice dining room set. The wood looks very rich. It is farily easy to assembly. The chairs go very nicely with the table.

We were looking for a table that could accomodate our family of five, but with an eye towards the empty nest that we will be facing in a few years. Most tables we saw were big and bigger, but this one fit our needs perfectly, with the capacity to seat everyone now, but can easily be made into a great table for four, and fit into any small space, but still look rich and contemporary. The extension leaf has a great mechanism and is well made. We think the table is very stylish and contemporary, without being over the top in style. The only drawback is that when table is out to seat 6, the small metal ends of the mechanism show from the side of the table. With the chairs in place however, they are not noticable. The finish on the tabletop is beautiful... we chose to get a piece of glass cut to put on top to protect the finish from our not always too particular teens as we use this for everyday meals. Assembling the chairs did not take very long, and they are sturdy. Another plus with this set is that chairs on sides fit well up under table which minimizes space requirements. We have been very happy with all our Overstock furniture pieces ( have bought beds, dressers and chairs). Thanks Overstock for another great product!
