This is a good quality chair and is very comfortable. I keep it in the backyard and lounge in it while BBQ ing. I did not stain it and it is turning grey as the instructions said and is holding up very well.

I regularly read reviews before I purchase items from Overstock.com, but I always go with my gut. I don't know... maybe the people who gave these chairs bad reviews don't understand "you get what you pay for" but these chairs are just fine by me. The wood is smooth, sturdy, functional and simply awesome. The perfect addition for our new deck. I also bought the matching side table which was also an awesome product for the price. I have many projects waiting in the wings so price is alway a huge factor in my decision.

We were very disappointed in the quality of the chairs. They look nice, especially from a distance, but up close they are very light weight and seem small. We have adironadack chairs we previously purchased (somewhere else) and had hoped these would be comparable since we could not find an exact match for the ones we bought earlier. These chairs pale in comparison. Very disappointing.

This chair is a good value for the price. It is sturdy and, when assembled, appears well made. However, I had a significant problem with assembling the chair that I purchased. One of the pre-drilled holes was over 4" to the left of where it should have been. This required me to get out my drill and drill a new hole. Also, more tools were needed for assembling the chair than just the screw driver stated in the directions. As long as you are willing to spend a little extra time and effort in the assembly of the chair, the price of this Adirondack and the quality of the finished product make up for poor directions/ set-up. I would recommend this chair to others with the understanding that they may need to put a little extra energy into construction.

the chairs arrived within a good time period. My husband put them together. They were basically in four parts, the chair seat, the back, and the arms/legs. all parts were received, and my husband (who is NOT a handy man) put both chairs together in under 45 min! they are very comfortable to sit in and because the wonderful smell of cedar emanates from the wood, we chose not stain the chairs and let them "weather." This is probably the 5th time I've ordered from Overstock, and I am most happy with all my purchases and with the service!

I read the other reviews and these chairs seemed to be the best made, and I wanted to decide what color they would be. I didn't find these chairs that easy to assemble, and the first one I opened was missing the washers in the package, which lead to some initial confusion. All in all, with the time I spent assembling and sealing them, I sort of wished I had bought prefinished ones....

I ordered two chairs and they were delivered quickly and were already partially assembled. I am pleased with the look and comfort. I stained them with cabot's red cedar stain to protect them and to have the chairs blend in with a swing that i already had.

Great value for the money! The chairs were easy to assemble except the bolts seemed longer than necessary. One chair arm was made with the grain cupped upward and is beginning to peel. The chairs are sturdy, and we look forward to enjoying them for a long time.

Great chair, sturdy construction. Only minimal assembly required.

This is a great chair and made in the USA. I was able to put it together in about 15 minutes. It was also easy to paint.
