Although there wasn't as much orange in the rug as I would like, I love this rug pattern so much I have three different sizes. The only thing that concerns me is the "thread" that holds the braided pieces together is thin nylon. I'm not sure how long that will last in over the years. Earlier braided rugs have used heavy upholstery thread.
I ordered this rug in two sizes for the same room. I was concerned if the dye would match well, since the braided rugs are multi color. They look just great together! Also, let me state that buying American made was first priority...I looked at dozens of these before I found 100% wool and American made. I have had these for about one month. They are in a kitchen and spot clean beautiful. Bound to have a lot of action in a room like that, but I have been able to clean every challenge. If you are on a smooth floor you MUST get a pad to hold these. I found one on Overstocks that is not stick and holds. Since the rugs are reversible, I didn't want to hurt the other side. If I need other area rugs I will look to this brand first. I bought the classic Forester because I could not make up my mind on colors. The Classic has beautiful hues in it, and seems to pick up the colors around it. My kitchen is mostly blue and I see earth tones and blues. When I moved the rug to another room, it picked up the green. Finally, this prices is very competitive. I found others that were quite a bit more and were blends, not even all wool. Nice rugs.
I recieved my rug and was so disappointed in the color that I am returning it. I ordered the multi-color but the rug I received looked almost pastel with lots of pink and blue threads. The intensity of the color did not match the pic at all, so much that I'm not sure the manufactured labeled the rug correctly. It's a shame because I really like the thickness, weight and overall quality for the price.
