I comparison shopped and Overstock had the best price for this product. The appliance is "reconditioned" but arrived in a new, unopened box and in like-new condition. It's compact in size but does the job of a full size food processor other than the bowl being slightly smaller. I was able to eliminate my blender as this is a combination appliance.

its loud and needs more blades. Wasted money!!! Very surprised with it being a Cuisinart Food Processor but a lesson has been learned.

For a small unit, it has a lot of power. I've chopped everything from eggs, cheese, various veggies, and even a whole slice of hamburger quiche. Other processors left chunks on the sides, but not this unit. Also, cleaning was a breeze. I'm very please with my purchase.

Although this is a nice looking piece of equipment I was a bit disappointed with the food processor. It does not really seem to chop it only seems to grind things to very small pieces. There is only one level to slice also. I would suggest buying these two items separately. I have not used the blender yet.

Cuisinart products are worth the expense. I really like having two size bowls to work in. I have not used the adjustable blade but it seems to be a reasonable solution to not having to purchase multiple discs. The big hang up I have with all food processors is the clean up. All the books and crannies. This one has its fair share of them. Someday someone will come up with something reasonable. Until then, keep the brush that comes with it handy.

We bought this for our cottage, since we already had a Cuisinart food processor (from the 80s) at our main home - it was still going strong! But, once we tried this new Cuisinart, my husband shipped our old one off to the Salvation Army store. The new one was just so much better. So now we have two of these - they are amazing!

I love my Cuisinart food processor. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I didn't want a lot of gadgets and speeds, so this is a very simple model. My only criticism is that the motor component is a bit heavy, but, so what. Everything else about it is great.

This is a beautiful appliance. It was purchased to replace a Kitchenaid food processor that was 12 years old. I do wish it had the mini-bowl like the Kitchenaid had but the last few Kitchenaid products I have purchased seem to have declined in quality so I decided to try a Cuisinart. I'd purchased one like this for my daughter-in-law as a gift 2 years ago and she really likes hers.

I love this mini processor. I use it for everything. I chop nuts, I put in my garlic. I do it all in there. I even take it with us when we go to our timeshares if going by car. You would love it as well.

Bought my Mom a cheap Black&Decker food processor and it was awful - didn't shred completely leaving big chunks of cabbage or carrots in the mix. Then bought this Hamilton Beach model and Mom is ecstatic! The shredding blade shreds ALL into precise, same-sized pieces - her coleslaw was outstanding. A great, affordable food processor - yes, it's noisy, but all of them are. Don't need the $200 Cuisinart - this *** one is perfect!

I reluctantly purchased this for my daughter who in college. Despite reading the great reviews, I was reserved, I had always been a Cuisinart person, but I figured for college, what the heck. Well today, Super Bowl Sunday, I couldn't find my Cuisinart blade. I called my daughter and asked her to bring it over. I feel stupid for paying $150 for a Cuisinart. The product was easier to use than mine and easily made everything I needed it to. For 20% of the price of a Cuisnart, this is beyond better. On a side note, the instructions in the Cuisinart and the Hamilton Beach ask you to freeze certain cheeses prior to shredding. That is possibly why a previous review mentions the mashed and smushed cheese. This schredded cheese like a dream for me. I am going to sell my Cuisinart and buy one of these for myself.

I make baby food and bread for my nine-month-old, and I use this machine every day. For a couple of months, I was using a tiny baby food maker, and my life has become so much easier since I got this properly sized food processor. It works like a dream. I feel like I have an assistant in my kitchen, which is great since the little fella eats more and more each day!

Easy to use and clean. Very handy! I make nut flour a lot to bake with and this pulverizes the nuts into a nice meal or flour!
