I love the pop-up functionality of this drain. This item is a novel piece and great addition to my slightly squared vessel guest bathroom sink. The pop-up drain provides a great look and contemporary feature in the bathroom.Read More
I spent a lot of time trying to make sure of the drain diameter and if this was for a vented sink bowl. There were no directions so you needed to know how to install a drain. The drain itself works perfectly and was just as described. My problem was my sink is rectangular and the drain hole was not cylindrically sloped, but more like a trough. The water would only drain from front to back and would hold water on the sides because the drain would not sit flush in the bottom. It is a large drain but no larger than what you get at Lowes or Home Depot.Read More

The item was the icing on the cake for our bathroom makeover. I love the popup designRead More
I ordered two of these in brushed nickel. Both drains were well made and look great. The price can't be beat! FYI: They work very well for normal overflow sinks (as opposed to vessel sinks).Read More
We bought 2 of these Pop-up drain assemblies at the exact same time. Neither was the same out of the box. One has a very poor design and inferior quality workmanship. The extension pipe threads internally into the pop-up assembly. It has poor workmanship and it is nearly impossible to stop water leakage from this connection point. The other problem is the O ring in the pop-up assembly. It leaks and prevents the vessel from holding water. You can't just go down and replace the O ring either because they are specific to the pop-up assembly. BTW, the other assembly is a completely different design that works perfectly.Read More
I too am having problems with the seal below the sink. The silicone rubber gasket just does not want to stop water from coming through the threads. A very nice piece that is cheapened by a 10 cent gasket.I am going to try some plumbers putty to seal it and if that doesn't work I will use a bead of silicone caulk and seal it up permanently.Read More
We bought this to go with our oil rubbed bronze faucet and vessel sink. It looks great! My husband installed everything and said to mentioned that the instructions are vague, and that so far the seal is not 100%. There is still some leaking...Read More
I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT AND THE WASHER DOES NOT FORM A TIGHT SEAL ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SINK. DID ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM. WHERE CAN I GET A BETTER WASHER.Read More

How long is the threaded area of the drain? We purchased a different pop-up drain with 31/2 inch threaded area and it is not long enough to span both the sink and the countertop thickness.
The threaded area is 3 in.

According to the description, you can push-pop the drain to make it work.
You push down with your fingers and it closes, push again and it pops back up.
How to Buy the Right Drain for Your Bathroom Sink

Smaller items like the best bathroom sink drain and faucet will also make a statement. Many bathroom sinks will include parts for the sink drain, but some vessel sinks will require you to select your own drain. How to Clean Garbage Disposals
Did you know that odors can build up in garbage disposals around the blades, under the rubber rims and in the drain and pipes? Most people clean their kitchen sinks regularly but forget about one of the most important parts of kitchen sink, the garbage disposal. It can be tricky to reach into the disposal to remove the offending smelly residue, but with a little effort, you can quickly restore freshness to your drains. Using simple methods, you can degrease and deodorize garbage disposals while sharpening the blades to reduce future odor accumulation.
How to Install a Bathtub Drain
Bathroom plumbing can seem daunting, but some tasks, like installing a bathtub drain, can be surprisingly simple and easy bath improvement projects. Bathtub drains are designed so that water flows to a low point in the pipe, known as a trap, at which point the heavy sediments settle while the rest of the water travels down the pipe. While this helps your drain to keep from getting clogged and makes cleaning a tub drain easy, sometimes the low point can corrode or generate difficult-to-remove build-up, in which case you will need to replace the bath drain. Tackling the job yourself will greatly reduce your out-of-pocket expenses for this job. Installing a tub drain is moderately easy and should take less than an afternoon.

Here are some simple instructions to help you get your vessel sink faucet installed properly and change the look of your bathroom.
How to Install Vessel Sinks
Style and luxury can be added to any bathroom by installing a vessel sink. Two installations are popular: You can either rest the bathroom sink directly on the countertop or cut a hole in the countertop and lower the vessel down so that the sink bowl is partially recessed. Once you've installed the countertop and sink faucet, you'll be ready to install the vessel sink itself.
Matching a Vessel Sink to Your Bathroom
Part of the challenge of remodeling is blending fixtures and hardware, such as a bathroom sink, with other elements of your room decor. Unique bath fixtures, such as vessel sinks, can introduce special challenges. A vessel sink is not meant to blend into the countertop as other bathroom sinks do. It's often a focal point for the room. Below are some tips on incorporating a bathroom vessel sink into your bath decor.
