I needed a faucet that matched the rest of the items in my bathroom, and this matched perfectly. It's so hard to find the oil-rubbed bronze finish in anything. I really like the looks of this faucet, and there were no scratches or other faults in the making. The only thing that bothered me is that I had to pay extra just for the finish. But, I really love it. One other thing that could be viewed as a problem (I think it was more in the installation than the actual faucet) is that occasionally when I'm running the water on low, it squirts off a little to the side or come out in bursts instead of a constant stream. Again, though, I think that's more our water system than the faucet itself.

Excellent value and a complete package; unsure of long-term parts availability but Fontaine is also sold elsewhere and looks like the intend to remain in the market.

This beautiful faucet arrived well packed and included all the parts I needed to install it including the matching drain. The directions for installation are somewhat vague but common sense coupled with minimal plumbing experience made for uncomplicated installation. I am very happy with the faucet and it is an excellent value.

I actually love the look of the fontain oil rubbed bronze faucets. They are perfect in my bathroom. My contractor/plumber; however, has very different feedback. According to him, the "inside" workings are cheaply made and he is concerned that he would not be able to get parts if something were to go wrong. In addition, we had an oversized sink and the close valve assembly for stopping up the sink had to be modified as it wasn't long enough. I don't think this would be a problem if you had a normal sized sink. Finally, the flow of water is a bit strange. The hole is small and it comes out really fast. This isn't a problem for me, but for my kids, they are constantly making a big mess as the water splashes everwhere. I simply turn the water on slower, but for a 3 year old who is just learning to wash her hands herself, this is always a mess. I figure it will also be a constant learning experience for visitors. Overall, I like them but probably would not purchase this brand again.
