The product is beautifully built and a great value, so what's the problem?
My only reservation about the product itself is that like so many faucets the distance between the downspout and the mounting surface is only 9 inches. That's fine if you have a deep sink, but having had one where the opening was a few inches higher was a lot nicer.
Now what about the problematic experience? I received a previously opened unit (not new). Customer Service gave me a partial credit and I installed it. It was defective. The previous purchaser had broken it and returned it. Overstock agreed to exchange it, but was out of stock. I had to pick another unit. It cost more, but Overstock picked up the tab and gave me a credit. However, one of my emails wasn't responded to and the whole process left me about nine days without water in the kitchen - no sink water and no dishwasher. As you can imagine, that wasn't pleasant. If I was paying a plumber to do this, it would have cost me double. Instead it was just three times the hassle.
In the end, Overstock went out of their way to deal with the situation more than fairly (even if a little on the slow side). However, in the beginning they sent me a used and defective item that caused all this pain. So, given the overall experience. I think three stars is more than fair. You make the call.
