We've been using this faucet for a couple of weeks now and I love it! I haven't seen any of the wobbliness that others have mentioned. I get the impression that if you get one like that, it's defective. Ours is beautiful and solid. I love the pull down spout. The design seems very intuitive. Quick out and back -- and I like the twist feature to change from regular to spray mode. Previously we had a faucet where a larger portion of the neck and spout pulled out to work as a handled sprayer. I ended up disliking this because of two things: One - it's a little awkward twisting your hand around to grab the neck in the right direction, particularly if you're handling a heavy pot or some such in the other hand. Not something I would have thought of before owning one. Two - Frankly, I tend to like to hang my dishcloth on the neck of the faucet to dry and then it would get in the way of grabbing or returning the sprayer. Neither problem with this one. Pull down feature fits easily in my hand and goes back with one hand. Although, I admit, it's so pretty I don't really want to hang my dishcloth there anymore. : )If I have any criticism, it would be that the assembly instructions were a little ambiguous. Luckily, I have a smart husband who figured it all out : ) but it was a little less clear than I'd like. We found ourselves questioning whether some tiny part was missing. (It wasn't.) The other question I have is that the pull down spout doesn't feel like it's made of a really heavy material - and there are some plastic parts in the connection area of the spout to the faucet. It's not really unusual. Most faucets you look at today are the same. I'm just praying they are durable in the long run. It's great right now. We'll just have to wait and see!

Okay the installation directions could be a bit better...and more complete...but other than that. It's a heavy well made product, and very attractive. I've never had a built in soap dispenser before...and I have to say, I really like it.

The service from Overstock has been fantastic, the item came in a timely manner, the faucet is lovely. However, the component that controls the switching back and forth from full flow and the spray is made up of plastic and therefore has already broken down and is not functioning. But, the faucet comes with a limited lifetime warranty and we called the Overstock warranty department and they sent out a new faucet sprayer head right away, so problem solved, for now.

Excellent faucet! It has been installed and in use for about 3 weeks now and I really enjoy it. High quality materials and workmanship, great look, very satisfied with our purchase. Addressing an issue brought up in earlier views re the faucet being wobbly: the gooseneck wobbles, NOT the base. The base wobbling was my concern but this isn't the case. I suspect that this is part of the design. Another item to note is the nozzle: it is metal. This may not seem that big at deal at first but think long-term durability. Many of the faucets I checked out by well known manufactures had cheap plastic nozzles, which was disappointing. I am quite happy with my purchase!

Arrived very quickly. Very Attractive and looks like its very good quality. It was a little shorter in hight than all the others ---maybe that's why it's referred to as "mini" --but I needed something shorter because my paper towel holder is right over it. I find that the handle unscrews after some use. I hope that won't be a problem. Also, I'm wondering if it was made for a wider ( front to back ) sink, because there is a lot of splashing when faucet is turned on, so I have to keep it turned very low to avoid a mess. I had a workman install it., so don't know ease of installation. 4 stars is because of the handle and the splashing.

I¿ve had my Fontaine faucet for almost a month now and am finally getting used to it. This farm housewife put it in all by herself, and the installation was relatively easy. Hardest part was taking the old faucet out! I took to heart all the previous comments on installation. (Thanks, folks.) The pipes are not too long; the lady who posted that must have had non-standard plumbing under her sink. I did need to purchase flex waterlines that worked just fine for the project. Indispensable is an under sink plumbing wrench. As for the spray hose weight , which comes apart in two pieces, I just kept re-positioning it up the hose toward the underside of the sink until I found a place where it will draw the spray back into position. One problem I did have was that the mechanism wouldn¿t fit through the old 1¿ hole from the old faucet. Thank goodness I have a Corian type sink where I could enlarge it to 1 ¼¿. So retro fitters take note. What took so long getting used to the faucet was that it looked so big I thought it overwhelmed my sink. Could be the thickness of the neck due to the spray hose. Becoming more comfortable with the profile now. Also, I kept soaking myself by sticking my arm under the gooseneck to turn the water on. My husband said, ¿Does it only spray??¿ I fiddled around with the spray head and discovered that, by turning the spray head ring, it changes to stream. A big note: The instructions included are sparse and confusing. Still, it takes a while to master doing dishes automatically with a new set of hand coordination if you have been doing things differently all your life. I am going to call the company soon and order another soap dispenser, which they don¿t offer separately, to put in the 4th hole left in my sink by the old sprayer. The dispenser nozzle is long enough that it will hang over into my sink, and I am going to put dish soap in it. I still think this type of faucet design might go the way of kitchen carpeting someday, but I am pleased with it for now.

I ordered this faucet for my mother. She had it installed and it works very well. The overall appearance is very nice - yet it seems a little bit stubby at the base to me. It's only recently been installed but the craftsmanship seems to be very good...no drips and it mounts very snugly.

the pipes were too long and the connector's were not the same as what we had and had to purchase adapators. You will void the warranty if you bend the pipes but you have to do this as they are very long, and do not fit standard cabinets.

Have had this product for about a month and am extremely pleased with it. It is definitely not a mini..the size is about an inch smaller than most gooseneck type faucets but it looks perfect with an average sized kitchen sink. Used a handyman-contractor to install it when he installed new countertops and new sink. He said it was easy to install and very solid. No problems with the weight placement and no leaks or wobbling as other reviewers mentioned. Water pressure is excellent. Am very pleased overall with it. One suggestion for anyone considering not buying this faucet because they're using a sink with 4 holes pre-drilled.... I moved the soap dipenser to the 4th hole and used a similarly finished ORB knob to fill the hole it left in the base plate. Looks as though it was meant to be that way. So don't let an extra sink hole stop you from buying this 3 hole faucet. It really looks and works great!

Great product! I have purchased several Fontaine faucets from Overstock and am very pleased with them all. This kitchen faucet is not a mini!! but an average to slightly oversized kitchen faucet. It was easy to install (by the plumber), looks great with the new granite counter top and matches the new stainless steel appliances perfectly!! (it has the brushed stainless finish) It is easy to use and the twist from full flow to spray works smoothly. The arch of the faucet makes it easy to put a large pot underneath it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new updated kitchen faucet.

I was impressed by how elegant this faucet looked installed. It is not "mini," except for the pull down spray that works very well. It has the trendy goose neck shape, but at about 15 inches, it is small enough to fit under a set of cabinets. I noticed the plumber had a bit of trouble getting it to sit properly. It is a bit wobbly for my taste. If it doesn't get any worse, it will be just fine.

I have been using my faucet now for about three weeks and am very satisfied with it. I purchased the stainless steel faucet and love the way it looks with my stainless steel sink and granite countertops. With my last kitchen remodel I purchased a more expensive faucet for around $500. For this remodel I thought I'd try online. I was a bit skeptical about purchasing online but have been extremely satisfied with the product and the process. Honestly I like this faucet more than the $500 faucet I purchased from another company previously. There are two things about the faucet that I worry could be a problem in the future but only time will tell. The first problem I forsee is that the neck of the faucet is a little wobbly and when you pull down the spout the neck moves a little from side to side. It doesn't bother me now but if it loosens a lot in the future I could see it being an annoyance. The second problem I worry about is the spout head. I love that to switch from the stream of water to the spray you just twist the spout head.............I worry though that this may break with continued use. I hope that is not the case because I really do love that feature. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the faucet and would buy it again. I also want to mention how happy I have been with Overstock. This was my first purchase through Overstock. My first faucet came fast but had a dent in it. I emailed overstock right away and the next day they mailed me a replacement faucet before I had to return the first faucet. This was very helpful because I wanted to install the faucet right away. Their customer service has been excellent..............so for any skeptics.............don't hesitate!!

We love the faucet! It was easy to install and easy to use. The spray has two settings; the water pressure is good on both. The faucet was a great value! The original soap dispenser arrived broken, but a replacement was sent within a few days. It is a wonderful, upscale addition to our kitchen and looks much more expensive than it really was.

I received my Fontaine Gourmet Kitchen Mini Pull Out Faucet and it was better than I expected. The workmanship was top quality, very little assembly, secure packaging and arrived within one week. I would definetly reccomand this product.

Renovating home and best deal around for craftsmanship. I am now even more of an overstock fan. can't lose with this deal. comparable faucets were at least $30 more at the home improvement stores

Received the faucet quickly. Installation was simple. Water turns on and off quickly. Watch out if your back splash is close to the faucet hole (less than 3 in) - the on/off lever needs to rotate forward and back.

This faucet is beautiful. I love the design and finish. the pull out faucet works great. It is a standard size, and I am guessing it is called "mini" just because the pull out piece is small compared to other pull out faucets. It pulls out with just your finger tips, so it is more convenient than the hand held pullouts I have had before. It has only been installed since the first of January 2008, so I can't rate how well it will hold up, but so far so good. Solid fit and no leaks; good instructions, my husband installed it himself.
