Fontaine Cape Cod Chrome Tub Shower Kit

I have a 90 year old prairie style house and am remodeling the master bath. The look of everything that I put into my house is very important to me. I have been looking for a shower head and valve cover set for over 6 months, if that gives you any clue as to how picky I am about looks. Even though I do not need the bath spigot, I loved loved loved this set, until it arrived. Just got it today, and am returning it tomorrow. Though not shown in the pictures, that annoyingly UGLY red and blue stripe/ swoosh is on the valve cover to help indicate hot and cold, along with hot and cold written. UGH! I cannot comment about the quality of the piece since the valve cover was, fortunately, the first thing I opened and I knew immediately I would be returning. I am pretty sure that Overstock only uses pictures given to them by the manufacturer, but ALL manufacturers should give ACCURATE pictures. And Overstock has to accept some responsibility in advertising products that are not exactly as represented. Even the box the set was packed in was the same used here....no swoosh, no lettering.In my world, there is a huge difference with a big fat blue/red swoosh....makes the piece look very modern. I am very disappointed with not only the piece, but also the time delay created by ordering something that is not as advertised. I am sure this would be fine for any modern setting, and others might really enjoy this piece, it just does not work for my application. Bummer.
