This great looking faucet leaked at the head at our initial intallation, so I called Overstock and they sent me a new disc. As soon as I said the manufacturer was "Fontaine" the service rep sighed and suggested he had others with similar problems. After we installed the new disc it worked okay for about three months, and now it doesn't fully have the spray option, dripping and leaking instead when I try to spray anything down. All form, no function here. Spend the extra and buy the names known for quality.

I was worried that the price of this faucet would not match the quality of workmanship. I was wrong. It was easy to intall and works great. The spray does not splash all over like a powerwash. I would buy another one in the future.

I bought this faucet thinking I was getting an extremely good deal. It's been in operation for less than a year and we're already needing to replace it. The handle continually falls off, the nozzle head never stayed in place from the beginning (my husband put a new O ring on it and it stays most of the time now), and the handle leaks water. Spend some more and buy from a reputable name.... I know I will.

I was very pleased with this faucet. It looks very nice and works great. I purchased for the laundry sink and it looks just as nice as the kitchen faucet I paid twice the price for, and it comes with the soap dispenser (nice bonus). The only thing is that the spray feature does not stay on when you shut off water and then turn the faucet back on. However, very easy to turn the spray feature back on. The faucet is tall and the pullout works very smoothly. It's very worth the price!

Bought this on line and my contractor put it in my new kitchen. It looked fantasic on my Granite and matched my stainless steel appliances. I shopped around and found the quality versus the price was outstanding Thanks Overstock !

This is a very pretty-looking faucet that works flawlessly since I installed it about a month ago. I had a Kohler soap dispenser that looks better than the included one (which is not bad either) and luckily the finish of the faucet matches the Kohler brushed nickel very well. The look is pretty massive - I was surprised how big this thing is upon unpacking, but it fits into our kitchen design well. Installation was quite easy, although I had one issue. The pulldown hose is a rather stiff plastic one (instead of the more common metal-braided variety), and due to it's stiffness, the included weight is not exactly sufficient to pull back the spray head all the way into place after use. So I had to add a rather big nut to make sure the head goes back properly, and more importantly, stays in place when the water flow is opened and shut down. Starting and stopping the water repeatedly made the head to work it's way slightly out of the spout with only the stock weight installed. This is a rather annoying oversight that should be fixed by the manufacturer. Another thing I noticed was that the "gooseneck" spout tube slightly wiggles in the base - this does not bother me too much as long as it doesn't get more loose after a while. Time will tell I guess... Still, these two issues are the cause for the 4 stars rather than 5.

We purchased this faucet for ourselves and again for our mother for her new kitchen so we definitely love it. One thing to note is that when used a lot the lever you use to turn on the water loosens a bit and needs to be tightened. Also when you pull out the faucet sometimes you have to give it a bit of help to get it to retract fully. But overall it's a great faucet. It's beautiful and looks great with our stainless steel appliances. It's one of our favorite features in our new kitchen. It's great if you have large things to clean (like a tray from a highchair) or even want to fill the coffee pot directly while it sits on the counter.

I love my Fontaine Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet. We remodeled the kitchen and would not trade for anything. I enjoy doing dishes now!!

This is a good looking faucet and we didn't even need a plumber to install it. The manufacturer has a good website for any questions. We've had it for quite awhile now and no problems with loosening up, leaks,etc. Which is a must for a kitchen faucet.

Would not recommend this faucet at all. It was installed professionally and needed to be replaced within 3 months. It is not sturdy nor is it a good quality faucet.

This faucet is not only has a beautiful finish, but is of super Solid Construction

The only reasons I give this faucet a four instead of a five is 1) Somewhat rather difficult to install if you have a deep well sink as we do. My wife wanted the handle on the right and after a diificult installation, changed her mind and wanted it on the left - groan! and 2) the handle itself turns on so easily that it is a little tricky trying to get a slower stream of water rather than full bore. Of course, some might think this is a plus. Overall, a great faucet!

We also purchased this in 2006 and three years later we had a crack in the seal on the pull down faucet. I contacted the manufacturer as it was well within the warranty period but never got a response. We have since moved, but I am again redoing a kitchen and won't consider Fontaine because of the lack of quality and customer service.

To me a granite counter top is more permanent than a faucet. It is important that the faucet be standard enough that I can replace it when it breaks or as styles change. The pipes in the bottom of the faucet that feed through the counter top are not centered (left to right) with the trim piece that covers the hole in the counter. This requires the hole to be drilled either: 1) very large to allow the faucet to be centered on the sink 2) smaller, but off center with the sink to get a centered faucet or 3) smaller, and centered on the sink with the faucet off center. None of these options seem acceptable to me.

I have become a huge fan of Overstock.com for the low shipping fees! As a busy professional I love this sight. I am very happy with my Fontaine Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet. It is a tall faucet and looks beautiful in my newly renovated kitchen. I read all the reviews and agree with one thing - the faucet head does not retract (snap back into place) without being "put" into place. It doesn't bother me but annoys others! I'm not even clear if it's supposed to snap back into place on its own but just thought I'd share my review. Water comes out nice and clear! : ) It is great looking and I think a great price!

I purchased this faucet in Brushed Nickel in late 2006 for our kitchen. After about 18 months of use the pull out faucet cord began to lose it's elasticity and would sometimes just dangle from the spout. No biggie really - I figured after 18 months of use this is somewhat to be expected. Then...last week, after 3 years and 5 months of use, the threaded metal rod that holds the faucet in place, sheared and broke in two! Since it is still under warranty I will be contacting the manufacturer for either a refund or a replacement. - Wish me luck!

We were very pleased with this faucet. It seems to be well made, very attractive. It was a little time consuming to install but still less than 1 hour. I would recommend this fawcet to anyone.

I wanted to replace our kitchen faucet which was put in by the builder and I absolutely hated, but kept putting it off because I wanted to be absolutely sure the replacement faucet met all my requirements. I finally decided to purchase this faucet after reading all the reviews. It was installed several weeks ago and I have to say I love everything about it - it looks beautiful, it performs perfectly and the water pressure is great. The plumber mentioned that he had never heard of the make, but who cares. My sister-in-law came to visit and thought it was great. I would recommend it to anyone.
