Fontaine Bronze Kitchen Faucet w/Spray and Soap Dispenser

Not heavy metal fixture, feels like aluminum. Not the quality I expected but using it anyway. The color is unusual and fits in with the kitchen's look.

This was my first experience buying any faucet, so I was a bit intimidated. I started out at the local stores and was appalled at the prices and not overly impressed with the styles. Something made me check Overstock, and I loved this faucet set right away. I waited several days to order it though while I did some research. The previous reviews were very helpful in my decision. I spent a lot of time thinking about which controls I wanted where on my new granite countertop only to discover that due to the new 40/60 sink, the only choice I had to make was which control order I wanted to the left of the faucet. I chose from left to right: soap/on-off/sprayer/faucet, and that's worked out well. The one thing I learned about the soap dispenser feature on this set is that since it fills from the top, you don't have to hassle with getting beneath your sink when it's empty. Although it can be hard to tell when it's getting full, I just use the pump as a "dip-stick", and that works fine. I believe one of the other reviewers mentioned about how the water runs just a bit once you turn it off. That's true, but it just seems to be because the nice curved faucet is draining. I've not found that bothersome at all. The finishes on the oil-rubbed bronze set are gorgeous and all even. Only clean them with a damp cloth though as the instructions do say that acidic cleaners may mar the finish. This faucet set coordinated well with my beautiful Stone Mill cabinet knobs and drawer pulls that I also ordered from Overstock at a great price. I definitely recommend this faucet set.

This is the second Fontaine Bronze Kitchen Faucet I have purchased thru this site. The first one I installed in a house we have since sold. The same faucet was no longer available, but I found this model from Fontaine to install in my new home. Installation is easy, and the quality of Fontaine faucets is great!

I was looking for faucets to go with our Portuguese-style kitchen and found these. We haven't installed them yet, but they are attractive and perfect for my kitchen.
