We have had this product installed in our kitchen for about a month and the copper finish has already worn off in places on the cover plate and around the faucet joints. We will be contacting the manufacturer about this.

We bought our copper Fontaine pullout faucet several years ago and we are back to say that we are still delighted with the product. We've had no problems at all. I don't like to write reviews right away in case a problem develops shortly after installation but happened to read the review about the finish coming off posted by another customer. We just followed the cleaning instructions that came with the faucet and our finish looks as great as the day we bought it. We would totally recommend this product. The construction is very solid even better than we expected and the soap dispensor is a great feature. We don't really use the towel holder though.

As others have noted, the handle is a slightly darker color than the rest of the faucet. But it's barely noticeable and doesn't detract from the overall look. It looks fantastic with my new granite countertops and all my copper accessories.

OMG, what a value for the price , i shopped this product everwhere. You will not find a better value anywhere. Top quality and it included the paper towel holder which seems like a little thing but it really ties into the faucet...I have a copper back splash, can u say awesome!

This is a great faucet! It was easy to install by my handyman husband. It looks great and is much easier to keep clean than my old faucet which had a crease that would always gunk up. Most important to me is it has very strong water pressure. All in all a great value and I would recommend it to a friend.

Took me a while to start project as I knew it's not that easy. The installation is difficult because connections are under sink and hard to access. Removal of the old faucet was the most difficult. The design of the Fontaine faucet made it much easier to install. The Fontaine unit looks to be well made, works well and there were no problems or leaks on initial installation. Seems to be a good, attractive unit at avery good price. If you have the skills to remove and replace, this is a very good deal. I'm well satisfied.

This antique copper faucet is so much more than I expected. It is a heavy weight and is beautiful with my copper sink. I can not believe the great value for the money this faucet offers.

This faucet appears to be very well made. It installed easily, looks terrific and works well. I use the soap dispenser with hand lotion instead, since I have a crystal soap dispenser I prefer to use. This works out fine. The paper towel rack doesn't install, it sits on the counter and I'm not quite sure why this is offered as it seems to be an odd way to try to use paper towels. We stored it away to see if we ever find a use for it anywhere in the house but we may end up throwing it away. My only concern is this. The instructions state not to use any cleaning product or chemical whatsoever when cleaning this faucet. I'm quite sure that if any is used, it voids the warrenty. Instructions state to wipe down with soft cloth dampened with water only. I'm very unsure with this instruction as I wonder how this will work out in the long run. I will follow the directions to the letter. I will make a copy of this review. I will mail an email to the company stating my concern and make a copy of this email and any reply to cover my bases. If the finish doesn't hold up, I will return it. I have kept all receipts and the box it came in for just this purpose. The finish has a lifetime warrenty, I will certainly hold them to that warrenty for a reasonable period of time. I really hope this faucet and it's finish performs well in the long run because I'm very, very happy with the appearance, function and the very sturdy quality of this faucet. It rivals all high end name brands in construction. The price simply can't be beat.

Faucet, paper towel holder, and soap dispenser have a nice color that goes well with the new Black sink. Great color combination. Not too shiny and blends well with surrounding colors too. We like the top-mounted button feature that allows switching between a stream of water or a spray. I was expecting the water to stop flowing when the faucet head was pulled out from the body of the faucet, but it is not engineered that way. A minor thing, really and one that is easily adapted to. We'll see how the product holds up to daily use, but for now, we are pleased with the look and operation of the faucet. The towel holder and soap dispenser are a nice addition to the faucet and round out the appearance also. Oh, customer service was good too when it came to placing and receiving the order.
