The chair is very good -- especially the white cedar and folding feature. When it was delivered it had a small crack around a knot in the wood - I called the manufacturer directly (Old Adirondack) and it immediately sent a replacement part at no charge.

This is a very comfortable and inviting chair. Best in comfort and natural looks in comparison to others on the market. I bought one in May and it was so nice that I decided that I needed a second before the end of summer. The White Cedar is top quality, smells nice and will age nicely, too! And the shipping was immediate.

We ordered one of these last year. It was difficult to put together and we were missing some hardware. The company sent us the missing hardware. The chair is very comfortable and well made so we ordered another one a few weeks ago. Much easier to put together this time (just looked at the other one). Very satisfied and would recommend!

These chairs seem to be very well made and were easy to put together...just be careful not to over tighten the screws because cedar is a semi soft wood. All parts were included in my shipment and the instructions were easy to follow. I hope I have these chairs for many years to come.

We bought two white cedar folding chairs. They never have to be finished, and have an excellent guarantee. They look wonderful, are an excellent quality, assembled in about one hour each, price was very affordable, arrived in about 5 days. We are very satisfied and will probably order more.

It took about 2 hours each to assemble 2 chairs. The bolt holes were not drilled all the way through, and there were some spintered areas around the holes. The nuts did not tighten without serious force applied. But, they look great! the wood is of high quality.

This chair is very comfortable. The arms are nice and wide (perfect for beverages!). The best part is they are lightweight and fold for the winter!!! I bought two and liked them so much I wanted another but Overstock was sold out, so I had to purchase it elsewhere for significantly more. Still love the chair! Buy what you need NOW!

These chairs are great! We ordered the matching table & leg rests as well after receiving the chairs. We are VERY pleased with these purchases. They are easy to put together, comfortable to sit in, plus they look & smell great! We are bigger people & we find them super to sit in. Highly recommend!

While these chairs looked great in the picture, they were not of the highest quality. They were not very weather resistant, and only lasted a few years. I don't think that they were worth the cost.

We had the chair only a month or so. My son went to sit in it, 16 years, and the handle just gave way. It didn't look like it could easily be fixed and permanently stable. So I am not going to use it. Try another chair. Bench and end table great so far. And my other chair has survived.

The chairs do not come with all the hardware. it seems others have had this problem. The manufactor is no longer replacing the hardware. Thus, chairs that cannot be assembled. Overstock, can do nothing about it. Thanks!!! This is my last purchase with Overstock.

I received the chairs and was impressed with the wood that was used. Since its the beginning of winter and we have La Nina where I am, it's too wet to have them outside. I intend to purchase the matching items that go with the chairs when the price is right and the weather permits.

Based on the excellent rating given these chairs by other purchasers, I ordered 6 of these for our beach house. So far we have assembled two and it was a breeze. The chairs are lighter weight than I expected but this is a plus because they will be easy to fold and carry onto the beach. They are very comfortable and great looking.

First of all I ordered 4 chairs. The first 2 arrived ,shrink wrapped in boxes and in perfect condition. And they were very easy to assemble although the instructions could use a little revamping. I easily figured out what they meant. The last 2 chairs arrived, one perfect and one a mess! It was obviously one that was returned by a customer for a refund. Parts were missing and broken and it was all disheveled in the box. I put it together as best as i could and contacted the company for the missing parts. I received a reply within 24 hours , with an apology from the president of the company. They did everything in their power to make me happy and the bad chair right, offered to take it back; but we settled on them sending the missing parts. Now I have 4 perfect chairs, already beginning to turn mellower colors with the aging process. They are super comfortable, easy to assemble, and fold for storage very easily.I took the star off for all the trips I made to big box store for missing screws, otherwise I would have given a 5!! This is a great company to do business with and a great bargain!! . Order these chairs, you won't regret it!

These chairs are well-built, sturdy, and comfortable. The instructions were a lttle vague, but the second chair was easier to assemble than the first. Extra washers were a nice touch. Some of the screw holes weren't completely cut through, but was no deal. I am planning to buy 2 more!

I bought two of these chairs to go in my front yard under a big oak tree. I painted them a dark brown and then a sage green (exterior paints) and then sanded them to get the shabby chic look. They look great. So glad I purchsed these. They should last for many many years. Very easy to put together by myself, I might add.

Excellent chairs and quality. Easy to assemble, all parts were included. These are great looking and very comfortable Adirondack chairs, the ease of being able to fold them up for storage is a plus. The wood is thick and porportions are generous. We would only suggest that you seal the bottom of chair legs with a product like Thompsons Water Sealer to prolong the life of them since they sit directly on the ground and would absorb moisture if not treated. We love them and highly recommend them. They come with a five year warranty and are supposed to last for a decade or more! They are of excellent quality and workmanship, and made in the USA which is another big plus. They are great looking chairs and we have received many compliments. We had previously ordered similiar chairs from a well known company and sent them back because they were so inferior in quality, assembly was difficult , parts missing or not cut to fit correctly, and wood was much thinner and were made in China.

I purchased 4 chairs and they arrived in good condition. The assembly was pretty straight forward and took me about 45 mins for the first and 20 mins each for the others. The quality seems very good (sturdy and comfortable) compared to what is sold at locally at 250 to 300 dollars. ...plus they fold nicely for winter storage. My only reservation about giving these a full 5 stars is that these have not gone through a few seasons so I don't know how well they'll last compared to higher end teak models

The fantastic smell of Cedar was evident as soon as my husband and I opened the box and pulled all of the parts out onto our patio. Unfortunately, we were missing the assembly instructions from our packaging. There was a great thunderstorm brewing to the West, and I wanted to have it all assembled in time to relax with a cup of tea and watch it blow in. Well....without the instructions, it was pretty much trial and error and plenty of taking it apart again to correct a mistake. We even tried searching the manufacturer's website for online assembly instructions, but to no avail. Two hours later with thunder and rain streaming into the porch, we finally had a beautiful Adirondack Chair that was stable and comfortable....and some leftover hardware. oops! You'll be happy to know that for such a great value, and even with the possibility that we didn't assemble it per manufacturer's instructions, it's the perfect spot on our back porch to read, relax, and enjoy a beverage or a dog on the lap.
