Seems decent
I was expecting something more fabric-like. This is comprised of litle plastc tubes woven together into a mat. I was initially disappointed, but now think maybe this is better. It is soft and pliable, yet rigid enough to stay in place and fold up easily. It will also be easy to clean. I don't think it would be good at the beach, but for going to the park or a baseball game this should be perfect.

Roomy size
Or family has used this mat several times for picnics and at the beach. Roomy and durable, it keeps the grass , dirt and sand away from the food and people. Nice vibrant colors. Perfect for what we were looking for. Also like that it folds up nicely to carry compactly--makes it easy to toss in the truck of the car to use when needed.
