This item was so bad I did not bother to try and return it just walked it straight out to the trash. The laminate throughout was bubbled and peeling. I decided to overlook that obvious problem and went to put it together. The particle board excuse for a shelf immediately disintegrated where the leg connected to it ,making it virtually impossible to continue assemble.

The desk looks good and serves it's purpose in a nutshell. The directions made it easy to assemble in a short time and It fits perfectly in the corner taking up little space. I wish the side table were sturdier though, it's not meant to be opened and closed multiple times on a daily basis (common sense). It's great being able to place the printer on the underneath shelf and out of the way. I've placed the mouse and pad on the L side table which still allots ample space for scanner as well. From what I've seen in the neighborhood of office desks it's a very decent table, unless your willing the spend a small fortune for custom made in wood.

The photo was a bit misleading as to the arm of the desk is awkward. Almost returned it, but too burdensome to do so. It works, but barely.

This desk is working out great as a computer/study desk in my son's room. He and I (13-year-old and Mom) were able to assemble it ourselves in a couple of hours. thanks to well-marked parts and clear instructions (I am not at all handy with these things!) The desk looksgreat and functions beautifully -- I think we got a good deal and a great desk. Thanks, Overstock!

Great desk. Excellent quality- especially considering the price. It's perfect for a small room where a computer with work space is needed. Entire unit is on wheels, making it easy to push it around.Desk was easy to build - even for a novice, such as myself - took only a little over an hour.Definately not a waste of money.

I am an artist and a seamstress. This desk allows me to use my computer, sculpt, paint, or sew in my tiny art room. The "L" is very useful and very sturdy. The desk was easy to put together. It took me very little time at all. The desk looks very stylish and has plenty of room for all my extra peripherals that I use in my trade like a scanner and extra hard drive. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a compact desk that allows you great flexibilty along with excellent value.

We needed a desk for our teenage son that fit into an alcove. This design works perfectly. With the "L" closed, you can easily get into the workspace, then open out the L. The modern design fits his room decor, too. The best part: assembly went smoothly--no missing parts and easy-to-follow instructions.

This table looks nice and is very easy to put together. I had two issues. 1. The table was defective. The very last part that I put together was damaged (the wheel socket). 2. The table is not very practicle as a corner desk. You will find that the keyboard slide is partially blocked by the side table. It is more practical to use as a very long contemporary desk when fully opened to 180 degrees. Due to these issues I opted to have this desk returned. I would recommend it though, but not as a corner desk.

VERY POOR CONSTRUCTION AND POOR WORKMANSHIP. PANELS HAD MANY IMPERFECTIONS, AND METAL PARTS VERY FLIMSY. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS VERY CONFUSING.

It definitely has the look. On the downside, there was an error in the location of holes for a particular part. So I was able to insert only two out of four recommended screws for that. Thankfully, it did not affect the overall assembly.

The idea of this desk was good in theory, but not so much in practice. A friend recommended this desk to me and she seems to like it fine. My problem with the desk is that as a lefty, it didn't really work for me and the way I needed to postion all of my items and make it fit into the room I was using as an office and into the space where I expected to put the desk. Additionally, it does not have the flexibility to raise or lower the various levels of shelves. I do still have it and I do use it, but I wouldn't buy another one unless it had those flexible features.

I love this desk - it has so much flexibility in the foot print. The only flaw is that to use it for a lap top, you have to put it on the top shelf and that feels a little distant from the chair. The pull out shelf is too narrow to support a lap top. It is perfect for an unobtrusive desk in family living spaces or in a bedroom.

I read the reviews before I purchased and they were so-so. But I found the design of this table so very practicable for my space and usage I bought it. I put it together in 2-3 hours by myself and I am all thumbs. I could have been done sooner but the keyboard table gave me some trouble. I put the hardware for the slide in backwards and had to take that apart and I took several ice tea breaks thinking it can not be this easy. The table is remarkable: lots of storage and versatile positions to work from. It is sturdy and attractive and I found no imperfections or scratches that couldn't be fixed instantly. This purchase scores HIGH on my value scale. I got great value for very little money. Just take your time, follow the directions and you too will have a great work space to create in.

A few of the pieces were bent, was able to use a hammer to fix (did not want to return). Directions a little complicated, took two of us a few hours. Overall value - great deal, love the finished product.

Desk Easy to put together and fit exactly where I wanted....and lots of table top and shelf storage. I received it in two days......great shipping!!!! Would Recommend!

The desk has a modern look with water proof surfaces. It can be used folded or folded out. We have been happy with it and would recommend it.

This is one purchase that I think one will not regret getting. The assembly is relatively easy although a bit time consuming. The package was received banged up but the desk itself was fine. The desk will last you for a long time but I don't believe it is of premium quality...then again for the price it's better then expected. The only thing to consider is that the table is a bit bulky (wider) then expected but that is my fault and no one else's.

Better than Average Quality. But, not as sophisticated/modern as I had hoped. I will keep as it fits the space and serves its purpose, but, not my best overstock purchase.

We did not expect a high end, solid wood product, however what we did receive was better than expected. It's built well and looks great. Just the right thing for our college son's room. Building it was simple enough; just as any other product purchased these days that requires assembly. We are very pleased with our purchase and will consider future Overstock.com for other products.

Looks nice in the photo... BUT desk panels made with of cheap boards, metal parts very flimsy , rotating table very poorly made and very complicated and confusing assembly instructions. Dont waist your money!
