Not what I expected...
All in all, you pay for what you get, so don't expect more. Ours is hanging in a window that faced another house so it serves its purpose well enough, but I am disappointed as I was expecting a much brighter looking piece that filtered light better. It certainly does not look anywhere near the quality of a true stained glass piece...
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? the product looks much brighter in the picture than in the window at home; light does not filter through very well at all...
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. if you're looking for a beautiful window panel that is made of real glass and that lets in light, this isn't the product for you.... on the other hand a 'real' stained glass window panel would be much more expensive
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? the product is described as being made of glass, but it's the 'strangest' glass I've seen - very thick and murky looking, even the clear colour... maybe plexiglass?? The soldering is not metal, but some kind of plastic material. The border is metal.
