We are using this headboard for a child's room and temporary guest room. I purchased both a white twin and a red queen size. They are, of course, not a suitable substitute for a real headboard in a master bedroom etc., but they're a great cheap alternative for other rooms. The white is not pure white, but just slightly ivory -- that being said, I wouldn't call it cream. The red is uber-red -- not quite scarlet, but getting close. It reminds me of Christmas or a 70's boudoir. I'm returning the red. It (mistakenly) thought it would be more "rich" looking. Unlike the beige jacquard version (which I also purchased), the floral air cushion headboards don't have the weight or quality of fabric I would have preferred for a non-kids room. It's definitely not an upholstery fabric. If you are using this in an adult room, I would highly recommend going with the jacquard version of this air cushion headboard.

My wife the decorator said we needed a headboard for the new bed we bought at Overstock. I disagreed. She won. So we shopped for one at Overstock where we've purchased a few things lately. I was happy that she was fine with getting one of these inflatables. Price was quite low. About $50. Never heard of them but they looked fine in the pictures. We bought one. It came. I blew it up with the enclosed pump. It's perfect. It looks very nice, weighs virtually nothing and stays in place fine with the enclosed stickers and Velcro as designed. Quite satisfied.

I did recommend it to a friend. Very Comfortable. looks good.

I was looking for an inexpensive alternative for a headboard. What I found is an elegant solution, for a small price. I have gotten so many compliments on it. I joke that in case of flood, it may also be used as a flotation device!

I really like this head board. It was very easy to fill with the included air pump. The only complaint would be that the red color is not even close to the picture. I thought it would be darker. I wanted the brown color but it was unavailable. I think I will dye the cover darker.

Good quality fabric, easy to assemble and inflate. Only problem is the velcro strips do not hold the headboard to the wall. It has fallen on top of the person sleeping in the bed more than once. I have purchased some heavy duty velcro with the hope that this does the trick.

I ordered the red full/queen for a queen-sized bed in my 12 y.o. son's room. The red is a real ruby red in a floral velvety type of material. It all came with the velcro stickers and the electric airpump and a bunch of various size attachments.It took two minutes to inflate, and maybe another 2 minutes to mount on the wall. It's about three inches thick. I pumped it up to a very stiff capacity; the cover fits like a glove, and it looks absolutely great. I would even consider doing this in my guest bedroom, but I already have a wooden headboard there.Don't hesitate to get it if you need a headboard. It really, truly beats anything else available at this price or even hundreds of dollars!

I sent this back. It was too light weight looking for my room and the color was more of a moss brown that it appeared on my computer screen. I can't really think of a place I'd recommend this item. The quality seemed good, it just looked too.....temporary.

It leaks air and needs to be blown up every week or so. Won't stay in place with sticky things provided. Mine is just for looks and gets no contact but still is always crooked and askew. It needs an attached flap or something to put between the mattress and box springs to keep it in place. It's a great idea, just needs some perfecting.

I am most unhappy with the blow up headboard. If I can figure out how to return it I will....it is a Gosh Awful shade of blood red (not shown in the ad) .and flocked like a house of ill-repute might favor. The means of fastening it to the wall are a joke for plastered or textured wall surfaces (and most walls are made of this type of material -- an uneven surface) Guess I was expecting too much for it to be a usable item -- and not a joke. suew

Wish I had thought of this! Has been inflated for 2 weeks still looks good. no problem mounting to wall just followed instructions.

I love the idea of this product. It can serve it's purpose as a headboard in my guestroom for now but then I'll just collapse it when this room is converted into a baby's room in a couple of years. I'll only be out $48!!!! I'm pleased with the headboard, however it is dirty. It looks like something dirty rubbed against it. It also looks like therre is a spot where someone tried rubbing the dirt out. I'm not sure if I can wash this product. I like the fabric. It is what I would describe as "Minky "(many children's blankets are made out of minky). The minky feels so soft and the design is very classy-not too stuffy and traditional.

Mounts to the wall, no hardware required! Cushy enough to sit against!

this is a great product... why had i not heard of this b-4 it has the look of the real deal supersoft but with a more than affordableprice.. that i have even thought about buying another one for diff looks in a matter of mins... cant do that with a regular headboard... well i guess u could but where wld u store it in an apt? and why bother ? this is diff buy me now product!

Everyone who sees my new headboard loves it and wants to know where i got it. and then surprised to see and feel that it is inflatable. i didn't fasten it to the wall, i just moved out my top mattress to allow for the headboard to slip down. the look and feel are fabulous, and it adds the perfect touch to the bedroom! highly recommend.

The headboard works great for my room and is cute and hasnt deflated but wow, you will need to figure out a different way to attach it to wall then by the little verlcro strips provided. I went to hardware store and bought heavy duty double sided sticky tape.

This headboard is so pretty. I waited months to buy it because I was skeptical. I bought the white. It's gorgeous. Looks very high end when on the bed. It did take me 2 times to inflate it. The first time too much air came out, but the second time was perfect. I've had it up for 2 weeks and no have not had a problem with it deflating. I put the headboard behind the mattress for now. I will attach it to the wall later. I just can't get over how pretty it is. I wish I needed one for my room. My mom came over and couldn't believe it was inflatable. She had to walk over and touch it. I can't say enough about it. I looked around on the web and the other inflatable headboards were $99. So this is a great deal and the variety is much better then elsewhere. Highly recommend!!

I love this inflatable headboerd. It looks beautiful and is very easy to install and mantain. Yes, I had to buy additional support to keep it on the wall and I do have to inflate it here and there but it is absolutely owesome!

This item really pulled my bedroom together. It was very easy to install and looks like the real thing. I got the white, which is very pretty. The material is very soft, almost like velveteen with a raised pattern in the same material. I haven't had any problems so far with it deflating, but I expect that I will have to maintain it occasionally with the pump it came with. I did not use the velcro, I just placed it on top of the box spring and then used the mattress to keep it against the wall and so far it is working quite well. Overall I am quite pleased with this purchase. I would especially recommend it for a guest bedroom, or if you are like me and don't want to deal with moving large furniture!
