  I bought these tiles to use in 2 small closets to replace old worn carpeting. I have not installed the tiles yet but I think it will be easy. These carpet tiles are thin--they should be sufficient for the closets but not sure how well they would hold up under traffic. I have another larger, walk-in closet that I will use another type of flooring for since I have my doubts about using these tiles in a larger area. All in all, good for my purposes but not necessarily the answer for all applications.

  I previously had the Vifa 6-slat deck tiles on my tiny New York terrace but after 6 years outside with minimal maintenance they were very worn. I chose these tiles to replace them in the hopes that the engineered wood would wear better, plus with 11 tiles per box they were a good value. The photos are accurate but as a reminder, note that the tiles don't really look like wood; they have more of a brick-colored hue and almost seem like more of a terra cotta tile when laid down. They are easy to put together and just snap into place and look very nice when laid down; I've only had them for a few weeks so far and have not experienced much rain but they seem durable enough. A few other tips to note: -Because the slats are so wide, these tiles look really nice laid out in straight rows all pointing in one direction rather than alternated like parquet flooring.   I am very disappointed with this product. I adhered them to my deck stairs and waited until nightfall to see if they glowed, they didnt glow. I checked again the next night, nothing! I will be repackaging them up and sending them back.

  Disappointed... 1) The foam tiles were not 1.0" thick as advertised. They are only 04". 2) Arrived with a long slash/cut in one tile, and another had long dent imprinted into it. 3) Very strong chemical smell. Need to be aired for a couple of days at least.
