  My wife really likes the lamps, but I am disappointed in the color of the lampshades. They give a gray cast to the light coming through them which may not go with the decor of the room you may be putting them in. Assembly was straight forward. Be careful to assemble parts in the right order or you may twist the electrical cord within the lamp too much. Instructions are minimal but sufficient. Diagram deviated slightly from reality but wasn't a show stopper. Lamp shades assembled easily. Overall, no obvious defects in either of the two units though they may be slightly out of plumb. Lamps appear to be sturdy. Just wish the lamp shades were the color in the pictures. Wish this site would allow posting of pictures to illustrate the final units as we received them.

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Lamp shade we received definitely NOT the color in the photos. Our lampshades have a gray look with no yellow component to them.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Tubes had a few scratches, but nothing noticeable unless you look for it. Base heavy/sturdy. Components screwed together, but lamps slightly out of plumb.
  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? Lamps take three way bulbs, maximum 100 watts, which are not the most common bulb out there.

  Love the look of the lamp but it get very hot quickly. I would be afraid to have it in a space that is close to curtains and I won't let my children touch it. Good looking and we don't use it much so the heat isn't a huge deal but had I know it would get this hot I wouldn't have bought it. Might try a lower wattage bulb although the bulb I have in it now is per instructions.

  Lovely lamp. The shade is a little more silver/gray and I was expecting off-white or beige, but I still love it. Easy to assemble (the smallest parts came already assembled), and fairly sturdy for something so delicate looking. I'm very pleased with it. Prettier than any lamp I've ever seen (that I wanted to afford) -- it's more of a piece of art in the room than just a lamp.

  I love the lamp - it is a clean, contemporary, high quality lamp that is perfect next to a reading chair. the base is nice and heavy, just like the other reviews stated. the lamp came nicely packaged - the shade was wrapped in styrofoam and protected on all sides. good value.
