The rod is beautiful, but it doesn't come with a support for the center.

Like the title, it does its job. The one thing I really did not like was that the finials, they are hollow from behind. Would have preferred something solid.

This rod is very light and when extended to full length will not support a large tapestry in the middle. It needs some kid of middle support hook. I would opt for a more expensive, fancier rod if you are purchasing a large tapestry like the Romeo & Juliet or Flur de Lis. They are both lovely and really need a sturdier and more intricate rod. This one is not it.

I was very pleased with this rod it was both sturdy and decorative, I used it to hang a tapestry also bought from overstock. The hardware which came with it was very easy to use, I was able to hang it myself in about 5-10 minutes.The rod is just as desrcribed well made and worth the price. I would reccomend this to friends.

These rods are quality made, very easy to install, and display my tapestries quite nicely. I have ordered from Overtsock for years and have not been disappointed with any item.

Overall, I was pleased with this purchase. The rod is sturdy enough to support a curtain over a wide expanse. (If you are not accustomed to installing curtain rods, a word to the wise: remove the extender piece before attaching the L-shaped bracket to the wall. it makes it much easier to access the screws with a drill or screw driver.) The decorative ends are made of plastic, so you'll need to handle them with care. The rod is an attractive addititon to my living room.

1 rod, the ends were broken and the other two the ends do not stay on the way they are supposed to. Only two hangers included in each rod. Thought there should have been a third one included due to the fact that they should be able to extend to 84". That center support is necessary.

The rod arrived promptly and was exactly what I wanted. I had ordered a rather large tapestry and the rod fit well. The only problem was that for the size of tapestry I ordered, the rod had to be extended to the max; which made it just a bit weak at the center causing it to bow just a little. That was easily remedied with a small dowel inserted in the rod. I would definately recommend this tapestry rod.

Very nice looking rod. Easy to assemble. I would recommend this for the shorter tapestries however, due to the fact that it buckled with the longer, heavier 84" tapestry that I had purchased to use with it.

The rod arrived wtih a broken finial. Overstock.com replaced it immediately. When the replacement came it arrived with the same broken finial. To avoid time and aggravation I combined the 2 sets to make one usable rod. Overstock.com was very prompt but I don't think I would go through the hassle again.

The metal on the finials is very soft. You get one chance to tighten the screw. If you have to adjust the position of the finial and retighten the screw you will be unable to. I bought several of these rods at once and had this problem every time I needed to adjust any of the finials - the hole in the finial stripped out the first time. Otherwise, the rods were beautiful.

I liked the item and it was well made and looked great alone. My problem is that it didnt fit the tapestry it was suggested for. It was a couple of inches shy of being the right size. I had to go out and purchase another and passed this one along to a friend. The item itself is good quality just be sure to keep in mind when the length of the rod includes the finials, which the longer tapestry will extend over. If you wont be happy with that, then you need to get a longer rod elsewhere.

The rod was a great buy for the money but if you extend it the full 84", it will sag in the middle as it does not have enough supports for that length. We changed out the rod for another.

The Drapery Rod was exactly what I expected. It matches the decor in the room, which I plan to use. I would recommend this rod for any room, which is used as a Bedroom, Den, Office, etc.

the tapistry was of a very good quality material and it looks great on the wall.we couldn't be happier.
