I bought these infusion bottles for my husband and me. I love the glass aspect, as everything always tastes better in glass. The bottle is pretty straightforward to use. The only drawback is the outside top does not screw on as effortlessly as it could. It really has to be lined up and this may take a couple of times.I also flip it upside down near the sink, to check that it is on and won't leak. (i had leakage from it not being properly screwed on once.)Read More
This was bought as a gift, which i totally recommend for that person that drinks alot of water! Since it came in a 2-pack, I got to keep one for myself, and got ME to drink more water, which i wouldnt do, because it was "boring". When you add the fruit, gives it that good flavor, and washes good. It's glass, so of course you have to be careful. My friend who I originally bought this for, absoulety LOVES it. Need I say more?Read More
I looked everywhere for a glass product and found nothing. To my surprise, here they were! I was trying to stay away from plastic because of everything you hear about drinking out of it. The insert that holds the fruit is plastic, but in comparison to others I have found, it was better to have just that part plastic and not the entire bottle. It is heavy duty and very durable!Read More

Best Vitamins for Fighting Fatigue
If you're feeling fatigued, your diet may be to blame. A lack of the proper vitamins can leave you tired, even after a good night's sleep. If you find yourself struggling to keep your energy up throughout the day, then you might consider adding vitamins and supplements to your daily routine. Adding vitamins and supplements to your diet can help you fight fatigue and feel more energized. Vitamin A. Vitamin A is an anti-stress vitamin. If your body can't deal with stress properly, you tire quickly. Vitamin A maintains the health of skin, plus the mucous membranes lining your digestive tract, bladder, mouth and lungs. Vitamin A also aids in the production of T cells, which improve your immune system. When your immune system is healthy, you feel more energized. In addition to supplements, you can get more vitamin A by consuming more eggs, spinach and mangos. Vitamin B. Vitamin B is best when taken in the form of a B complex, which includes folic acid, B6 and B12. Vitamin B helps regulate hormones and metabolism. Getting enough vitamin B helps your body efficiently process food and turn it into energy. Vitamin B can also improve your mood. Vitamin B is especially helpful in treating pre-menstrual fatigue and mood swings. B-complex vitamins and fish oil capsules can help your body get enough vitamin B. You can also find high levels of vitamin B in meat, lentils and potatoes. Beer is also a surprising source of vitamin B, though alcohol can limit the body's absorption of vitamins, so consume alcohol in moderation. Vitamin C. Vitamin C is crucial for maintaining your immune system and fighting viruses. Infections, even those unapparent to you, can cause fatigue as your body uses energy to fight them. Vitamin C is also helpful for iron absorption. Because iron deficiency, or "anemia", can result in fatigue, vitamin C is an important part of an energy-packed diet. Fruits and fruit juices are high in vitamin C, as are a wide range of vegetables. Vitamin C supplements are also a great way to get enough vitamin C. Vitamin E. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant, which means that it limits cell damage throughout the entire body. Vitamin E is also necessary for a healthy immune system. Supplements and multivitamins containing vitamin E can boost energy, and vitamin E can also be found in nuts, wheat germ, fruits and vegetables. NADH. NADH is a coenzyme. NADH aids in breaking down food and converting it into energy. If you're lacking NADH, fatigue is often a symptom. In addition to supplements, NADH can be found in fish, poultry and meat. Gingko Biloba. Gingko biloba is an extract from ginkgo leaves. Ginkgo biloba is often used to increase energy levels because it has been shown to increase blood flow in the body. Ginkgo biloba is also an antioxidant. You can find ginkgo biloba supplements or purchase teas and other drinks and specialty foods that are infused with the plant. What to Pack for Africa's Highest Peak
Imagine that you are planning a trip that will take you from the equator to Antarctica in seven days. Now imagine that you have to limit the amount of gear you pack to 35 pounds or less. The task is getting more complicated. What kind of luggage would you choose and how would you pack for a trip that encompasses such extreme changes in climate and altitude? When Erica Davis, a paraplegic athlete, and Tara Butcher, a physically challenged athlete, climb Africa's highest peak, they will have to answer exactly those questions. The challenge: Mount Kilimanjaro rises from nearly sea level all the way up to 19,330 feet. The trail climbs from the hot bushland through rain forest, moorland, alpine desert and arctic glaciers up to the rocky Uhuru peak. A climb like Mt. Kili presents special challenges when it comes to luggage, clothing and gear. Being prepared for the weather and temperature extremes is a necessity, but it's also important not to pack too much. There is a 35-pound weight limit to each piece of luggage carried by a porter. Most climbers pack one 35-pound capacity bag to go up with a porter and one small daypack to carry up themselves. The daypack: Erica and Tara will have 7 days to summit Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro. As they pass from one ecological zone to the next, their needs will change and so will the contents of their daypacks. Each day Erica and Tara will repack their daypacks in anticipation of the specific challenges of the day's journey. In general, their daypacks will include things like water, snacks, dry clothing, waterproof gear and sunscreen. The importance of keeping clothing and gear dry cannot be overstated. When choosing a daypack, a small to medium backpack made of lightweight, moisture-resistant material that comes with a removable waterproof shell will be ideal. It's also helpful if the backpack has convenient access to a water bottle compartment or can accommodate a water bladder. Plenty of pockets, zipper compartments and hooks are also handy. What to pack: A sturdy but lightweight water-repellant duffel bag with a capacity of about 35 pounds is ideal for the trek to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The bag needs to have room for plenty of layers of breathable, moisture-wicking clothing and layers of fleece clothing, as well as a waterproof layer. To save space, it's a good idea to pack clothing that does double duty, such as pants that easily convert into shorts. Aside from clothing, the climb will also require accessories like sunglasses, hats and gloves, plus equipment like trekking poles and a headlamp, as well as toiletries like sunscreen, insect repellent and a first-aid kit. Support the Challenged Athletes Foundation: Overstock.com and the C.H.E.K Institute are co-sponsoring Erica and Tara's climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in order to raise awareness for athletes with physical challenges who wish to participate and compete in sports. Portions of the proceeds will benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). CAF raises funds to give physically challenged athletes the opportunity to stay active and competitive in the sports they love. To show your support for physically challenged athletes like Erica and Tara, donate now to the Challenged Athletes Foundation for the Fit 4 Kili Climb. Best Vitamins for Women
Even if you maintain a healthy diet and weight and exercise regularly, you still might not feel as though you are getting the nutrients you need to enjoy and keep up with your lifestyle. Women have specific needs when it comes to vitamins, and those needs can change and increase during adolescence, pregnancy and menopause. Let us help you choose the best vitamins and supplements for your lifestyle. B vitamins. B vitamins are water-soluble, which means they are flushed out daily, so they need to be replenished frequently. B vitamins are abundant in a variety of foods, including meat, potatoes and bananas, but many women, particularly vegetarians, may not find themselves consuming a variety of B vitamin-rich foods. Water-soluble vitamins are also compromised when foods are over-processed or stale. B vitamins affect your immune system, metabolism and cell growth, and they have a big impact on your energy levels. Pregnant women should consume extra B vitamins, particularly vitamin B9, which is also known as folic acid. Find your B vitamins together in a B-complex supplement or in a quality multivitamin. Vitamin C. Vitamin C is also water-soluble, so it is important to get plenty each day. Vitamin C is famous for promoting a healthy immune system. In addition, vitamin C is necessary for absorbing iron into the blood. Because women are more likely to develop iron-deficiency anemia, vitamin C is especially important. Vitamin C supplements are available in a range of formulations, and you can also get plenty from food sources. In addition to oranges, vitamin C is abundant in oysters, broccoli and a wide variety of fruits. Vitamin D. Vitamin D contributes to the overall health of your body's organs, but its main job is to make sure that the calcium you work so hard to consume gets absorbed properly. Women are more likely to develop bone density complications, so calcium and vitamin D are extremely important for women of all ages. You can get your vitamin D easily from the sun, but if your lifestyle doesn't allow for much sun exposure, you may want to consider adding a vitamin D supplement to your routine. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, which means it is stored in the body's fat and organs. There is some potential for toxicity when fat-soluble vitamins are over-supplemented. A daily intake of 200 to 400 IU per day is recommended for children and adults, and most vitamin D supplements will provide 400 IU per dose. More than 400 IU per day is not recommended. Benefits of Using a Travel Backpack When Traveling
Travel backpacks offer a number of benefits for all types of travelers and may be an attractive alternative to larger tote bags, duffel bags and miniature suitcases. Whether you're traveling with a backpack over a long distance or traveling by plane with a small backpack as a carry-on, use a travel backpack designed with extra compartments and tight-fitting, portable style to ensure a comfortable travel experience. Easy to stow and store: The design of a travel backpack makes it easy to store it in overhead bins in a bus, train or airplane. The soft sides of a backpack let it conform to tight storage spaces. Many travel backpacks have compression straps that let you cinch the packs contents down to take up less space. Comfort: Travel backpacks put less strain on your body than most other kinds of luggage because their weight doesn't pull on one side of your body. Travel backpacks are designed to evenly distribute their load on your shoulders and hips, making them easy to carry for several hours. Thick straps with lots of padding make it even more comfortable. Keeps travelers organized: Many travel backpacks are designed with several compartments to store smaller items, such as water bottles, a cell phone, MP3 player, PDA, passport and subway tokens. This makes it easier to stay organized while traveling, ensuring that all your basic items and accessories are within easy reach. Easy to move around: Probably the biggest benefit of using a travel backpack is the ease of movement it provides. You don't have to worry about dragging a rolling suitcase up a flight of stairs. A travel backpack is also easier to maneuver through a crowd of people than most other types of luggage. Protects items from the elements: Many travel backpacks are made with water-resistant and waterproof fabrics that protect your valuables no matter what the weather forecast may look like. Travel backpacks made with polywick fabric, ballistic nylon and other weatherproofing materials are especially beneficial for travelers who will be outdoors for most of their trip. Best Ideas for a Cowboy Birthday Party
Plan the perfect cowboy birthday party for your little cowhands and their posse with a Western-themed party. With the right decorations, games and food, you can create a hoedown that your child and his or her friends will remember for years to come. Find cowboy party supplies and crafts for a colossal cowboy party, and don't forget to capture every moment with your camera. Invitations. Create cowboy party invitations that look like "wanted" posters using recycled brown cardstock paper. Print a black-and-white picture of the cowboy or cowgirl of honor in the center and use an old-style font or block lettering. Include the time and place for the round-up on the cowboy party invitations. Use fun phrases such as "howdy partner" and "saddle up for the showdown" for added laughs. Ask guests to come in their favorite cowboy attire, including rugged jeans, flannels and boots. Decorations. For cowboy party decorations, cover tables with red and white tablecloths. Display "wanted" posters of the birthday cowboy or cowgirl throughout the cowboy party room. Add balloons in colors of red, white and blue. Shape strands of rope into lassos and place them on the tables or hang them on chairs. Use bandanas or a Western-themed fabric for place mats. Create large cutouts of cacti, horses and cowboys for decorations. Bales of hay, stalks of corn and other items can add to the cowboy party decorations. Place bottles of water or juice boxes in a wheelbarrow filled with ice for refreshments. Dress up. Costumes and clothing can add to the cowboy birthday party theme. Because all guests may not know each other, give each guest a name tag cut to look like a sheriff's badge. Use silver cardstock cut into star shapes and attach the name tags with safety pins or tape. Provide guests with bandanas in a variety of colors. Give each guest a straw cowboy hat and a water pistol for an authentic cowboy look. Games. Though cowboys can be serious, there is nothing like having several fun games planned for even the roughest, toughest cowboy to enjoy. If you're holding a summer party, tell all cowboys and cowgirls to bring their swimsuit for a shoot-out using water pistols. Have a galloping contest; use brooms as pretend ponies and have races to see whose horse is the fastest. Old-fashioned potato-sack jumping contests are easy to assemble. Hold a boot toss contest: Have children toss bean bags, gold coins or other cowboy party supplies into an old pair of worn cowboy boots. Food. Create an old-fashioned homemade spread, complete with a cowboy party cake. Barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs or sloppy joes are always a favorite for little cowboys and cowgirls. Salsa and chips, beef jerky and even pulled pork sandwiches are additional ideas. Corn on the cob and cornbread are traditional cowboy staples. Create a cowboy party cake in the shape of a hat, pony or boot to continue the theme. Goodie bags. Thank each guest for coming by giving them a galvanized pail filled with cowboy party favors. Fill each pail with a small amount of straw or hay. Add trail mix, gold coins and licorice rope to each pail. Tie pieces of raffia or fabric for additional decoration to the pail's handle. For other cowboy party favors, consider purchasing small plastic harmonicas, sheriff badges and cowboy figurines. View All Crafts Back to Guides Directory View All Crafts
