I purchased this set of flatwear because I had gotten down to a single serving for 8 in my old set and wanted to be able to set a table for 12-15 people. The weight is good; good finish, as well.
This is the shiniest flatwear I've ever had, so shiny that I think it cheapens the look of the set. In addition, the dinner forks and soup spoons are oversized to the point of being ludicrous. The soup spoons in particular are what I'd call serving spoon size and won't be seeing a lot of action at the table. On the plus side, they have a nice heft. If I hadn't had a 20% coupon I would have *really* felt I overpaid.
