I know the other reviewer commented that they didn't look real and would never use them. I would argue that if you use them in the right situation they are delightful. I am currently using them in my fireplace with greenery for Christmas. Unless you stick your head into the fireplace itself, they look real to me. If you are putting them on the dinner table, they are not going to look good. But these candles definitely have a place in a home with small children and curious pets. These allow me to enjoy the look of candles without the danger of an open flame. And if I forget to turn them off, no worries about the house burning down.

Really really like the candles I ordered. The price was great. Was pleasantly surprised when I found out that these candles also have a setting to change colors. Very awesome!

My candles are going back. One did not work at all. Remote control did not work and is made of very thin tin. Could not find a screw driver small enough to open tray so that I could try to replace battery for remote.

I just received my candles (fast delivery as usual from Overstock) I ordered these for our new church and when I tried them out I was more pleased than I expected. They look so real with the flickering light and the colors are awesome. Now we don't have to worry about dripping wax and flames, especially with children around. Now I HAVE to have a set for myself!

These 3 candles are the best buy. They are large enough to be seen at evening. The smell is glourious. They also have 3 settings. Setting 1 is beautiful soft yellow. Setting 2 is a revolving colors in the candle. I personally love the blue. Setting 3 is a little faster revolving colors. I put them on my patio in the evening. They give enough light for magical.

These are wonderful. I wished they had the timer, but the price is excellent. The quality is excellent. Everyone who sees them wants to get them. The color change feature is well done. It cycles through a rainbow of colors. They are a great addition to my home. They just make the rooms feel cozy and relaxed. Love them.

These candles are very nice. With a 3 year old grandson this is the only way to go. I have three sets now, and they are placed around my family room. I like just the regular candle light but he likes to turn on the colors. The batteries last a lot longer than I thought. The only thing I would change it to put a timer on them.

I love these candles. They have a slight vanilla scent and three settings to flicker with colors or with just the glow of orange light . They look very real, and no worry about dripping wax or fire hazzard. I have not had them long enough to know how long the batteries will last, but I feel they will last a long time. I use them for a couple hours almost every night., and they really add something special to the atmosphere. Makes it more relaxing. If you love candles I highly recommentd these. The only additional feather I wish they had was a timer.. other than that they are perfect.

These candles are great. I bought them to use on our party boat while cruising around drinking wine and nibbling appetizers. They look pretty realistic and I don't have to worry that the breeze will blow them out or hot wax will spill or anything will catch on fire if I'm not paying enough attention or just maybe drinking a little more wine than I should...maybe...ha ha! Planning to use them for the first time on the 4th of July. Well worth the $$$.

These work really well. One package we received had one candle that didn't work, so we exchanged it for one that works. During a storm one night the power went out, so we were able to make use of these till power went back on.

Bought this product because I don't like the soot build-up on the walls from a real candle. I love having a candle going all the time. Overall, I'm happy with the flameless aspect of this product. Would have hoped the Vanilla scent was a little stronger. You can definitely smell it if you are right on top of it, but not as you walk into the room. Convenient and clean, would recommend this to someone else.

i gave these as a christmas gift and now i wish i had bought some for myself. what a great idea for the whole house to create a romantic mood with a touch of ambiance. Thanks overstock for opening my eyes to the art of flameless!

Great idea, but I wish they would figure out how to make these things actually look REAL. Candles don't have flourescent ORANGE flames. They look cheap and I'll probably never turn them on. If the light was clear, they'd look perfect. WIll never use the mood lighting (blue/green) feature either.
