I bought two of these. I assembled these without the backs, and they are sturdy enough for typical books, DVDs, and decorations. The backs looked cheap, but the remainder of the bookcases looks great and were easy to assemble. I think this is a GREAT DEAL for the price. I'm getting lots of sincere compliments on the shelves.
The bookcase looks just like the picture when put together. I was disapointed that the bookcase is made of pressed wood. But other than that I am very pleased with the product.

This bookshelf arrived quickly and was wrapped on th outside in bubble wrap so it was in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble and everything fit together perfect. Looks great and is not heavy but it is very sturdy!
